Eggman flees after a fight between Sonic and Metal breaks out, and when he returns [since Metal Sonic never returned himself] he finds out the mf crashed. Eggman goes through his memory using fancy computer stuff and you could go crazy with what he finds. Personally i would say Sonic kissed him but you can do whatever you want ^^
