Della had just gotten home from a modelling gig and was ready to go sit down and cuddle with her boyfriend. Yet when she entered her house she saw that the house was exactly like when she left

That never happens. It's normally messy from Della, but Austin always cleans up for her so that its nice and tidy when she comes home. But that wasn't the case

She set her stuff down on the floor and quickly paced around her house to make sure Austin wasn't like dead on the floor or something

Thankfully he wasn't

But he was huddled up in their shared office space watching video on his computer. He had gotten casted in a movie to play Elvis like a year ago, and now that filming started he has to study

And because he needed everything perfected he would study photos and videos upon hours and hours to get every last detail right

Which honestly scared Della when he got like that. Because she knows firsthand what it's like to be fixated on something

These were obviously two very different fixations, but still damaging

"Hey Aus, I just got home and wanted to make sure you were ok." Her voice was quiet and gentle as she tried not to scare him

But it didn't matter because he wasn't paying attention. She only had her head peaked through the door but then she slowly opened the door and went over to him

Her hands carefully made their way to his shoulders slightly massaging them "Uh did you eat yet?"

Again no answer

"Aus, is everything ok." She tried turning his chair around but she made sure it wouldn't turn and kept his eyes on the screen

Finally speaking the black haired male was quiet and his voice slightly quivered

"Della I really can't talk right now."

After Della's next sentence that's what did it. The young woman became concerned "Austin hey what's wrong. You can tell me if you feel comfortable."

Right away he felt tears gather in his eyes and he put his head down. Della swung his chair to make it face her

Austin didn't answer his girlfriend's question but instead hugged her by the waist and cried

"I'm just so tired Dels, but I wanna make this as perfect as possible. Everyone is counting on me to do Elvis justice."

His tears melted into the brown-skinned girl's clothes and all she did was cradle his head into her waist

Kissing the top of his head she spoke quietly "I know baby, I know. I just, I think you're too stressed out. You're criticizing yourself the most."

"Why don't you shower then lay down and I'll make some dinner. After we can watch movies together ok."

Austin let go of Dellas waist and looked up while wiping his tears "Ok, thank you Della."

She softly smiled and helped him out of his chair. Her voice was calm and sweet "Don't thank me aus. I would do anything, for you."

"I love you so much Austin, always know that ok." Looking up into his eyes she gave a soft smiled before they began walking beside each other

The male put his arm around his girlfriend and kiss her cheek gently "I do know, and I love you  so much Della."
