( tw: drugs and almost relapsing )

Quietly looking for his key to Della's apartment, Austin unlocked the door and took a deep breathe

He could tell della was wanting to relapse and needed to prepare himself for whatever he was about to see

Except when he opened the door he saw nothing, nothing out of the ordinary

Her house was just a little messy, which is how it normally is. He didn't see anything wrong, because it's what her heard

Or what he didn't hear, because it was dead silent. Now that was the scary part

Immediately he became a little panicked as she always has something on whether that be a fan or a tv. However there was literally no sound coming from anywhere in the house

So he tried to remain calm and look around the home that was once his too. It was a three bedroom two bathroom modern, spacious house that felt warm and comfortable

Lots of paintings, warm lighting, and books everywhere. And when he didn't find her in any bedrooms he definitely started worrying

Which led him on over to the bathrooms, where he remembered what della does when she feels like this. Now he doesn't think  it's ever gotten this bad so maybe she did something different, but from what he knows of her.

He knows where she's at

In her bathtub. It's a thing she does where she'll just lay in the bathtub with all her clothes on and no water in it

And once he checked the first bathroom he was now standing outside the second bathroom

Yeah standing, not going in there, just standing. And that's because the door was locked

Which made him relieved and terrified at the same time. He was now gently knocking on the door hoping she would open it

But it passed the three minute mark and she hadn't answered. "Dels it's me. I just wanted to make sure you're okay."

Austin's voice was very soft and quiet as he truly just wanted to see if she was ok. But still no answer

Five additional minutes has passed and his anxiety was through the roof so he scrambled to find any tool to help him unlocked the door
