me: we'll start at the end of sonic and the black knight
knights: you are the true king arthur
sonic: who me?!
the knights all get on one knee and bow
sonic: h-hey cut that out
{now for the fanfiction}
sonic: look i'm sorry but i have to go back to my world
merlina flinched and her heart dropped
sonic went over to merlina and got on one leg putting a hand on her shoulder
sonic: speaking of which, can you send me back to my world now please merlina
merlina started to sob
merlina: s-sonic i... i'm sorry but i cant
sonic: h-huh?
merlina: the spell i used to bring you here w-was permanent
sonic got up and took a few steps back with a nervous look on his face
sonic: [nervous laugh] y-your kidding right?
merlina shook her head no while feeling terrible
sonic: . . .
gawain: my king are you okay-
sonic fell to his knees while facing the ground
percival: s-sir- no king sonic a-are you fine?
suddenly they all heard sobs
sonic: s-so i'll never see my friends again...
merlina crawled up to him not sure how to comfort him but put a hand on his back
he responded by hugging her making her blush but also striking something in percival
percival: (what is this feeling... i... i don't want him to hug her... i want him to hug me)
they would continue but sonic began to wail now accepting he would never see his friends again
this shocked everyone there as for the whole time they have known sonic he was never really sad or mad he was pretty much just inspiring and happy-go-lucky the whole time
after a while the wails stopped and sonic had fallen asleep as believe it or not a boss battle like that can take a lot of energy
merlina sobbed on his quills
merlina: I'm sorry please forgive me...
nimue: he seems to be asleep, the best course of action would be to take him to somewhere he can rest
merlina nodded and headed off with sonic in her arms
percival glared at her and pouted
lancelot: what jealous?
percival blushed
percival: N-NO h-he's our king
lancelot smirked
the knights then followed merlina to the lower parts of the castle where it wasn't destroyed
merlina went to a room and laid down sonic putting blanket on him
merlina: sonic... i'm so sorry
caliburn: he really finds an interest in you, you know
merlina: h-huh?
caliburn: you must be tired... you should also get some rest
merlina: right
she was about to leave when...
caliburn: you know if you were to sleep with him to comfort him i wouldn't know as i'm facing the other way {smirk}
merlina blushed knowing at what he was getting at
merlina: are you sure that's okay
caliburn smirked
caliburn: yes indeed i am
merlina smiled softly before going over and laying with sonic
