weeks would go by of sonic getting used to the role of king, he went on a few adventures and the villagers just adored him (like girls loving kpop adore)
one day sonic was on his morning run through the fields of the kingdom with caliburn
caliburn: "I'm certainly glad you keep your fitness up king sonic"
sonic: "hey enough with the king stuff, it feels pretty weird still"
caliburn: "ah but you are a king you must not forget that-"
*ROOOOOOAAAAAR*
sonic looked up and saw a dragon
sonic: "heh guess we'll have to save the chitchat for later"
sonic used his boost for the first time since entering this world
caliburn: "wh-what is going on?!"
sonic: "this is my boost!"
he would run up the tail of the dragon as he jumped at it's horn but the dragon hit him away with it's wing
caliburn: "sonic are you okay?!"
sonic slid to a halt
sonic: "heh just fine!"
sonic would boost at the dragon before jumping off a rock and slashing at it's horn slicing it completely off
*roooooooooar!!!*
the dragon was in immense pain and flew away
sonic: "don't come back big fella!"
caliburn: "great job sonic you took that dragon out with ease"
sonic: "yeah i wonder where they keep coming from we've been taking them out for weeks"
caliburn: "perhaps it is mating season..."
sonic: "mating season? whats that?"
caliburn: "you don't know what mating season is?"
sonic with an innocent face: "no"
caliburn: "too innocent, lets just return to the kingdom"
sonic: "sure thing"
sonic ran back into the kingdom as everyone cheered when he passed them
when he arrived in the throne room he was greeted by merlina
sonic: "hey merlina how are you doing today?"
merlina smiled with a blush on her face
merlina: "I'm doing very well today sonic, how about you?"
sonic: "heh I'm all good, apart from another dragon fight today"
merlina: "another one?!, *sigh* it must be mating season..."
sonic: "can someone please tell me what mating season is"
merlina and caliburn sweat a bit embarrassed (yes i did just say a sword sweated)
merlina: "w-well you see"
caliburn: "you're too innocent!"
sonic tilted his head confused
but in the end all three had a great laugh
