To Robin,

I sat at Lover's Lake last night. It was calming. It gave me a lot of time too think.

I was watching the stars and I thought about how so many people are scared of space. You were the opposite. You would always ramble on about what could be out there. And now I'm starting to think about it more and more. I think I understand why you loved it so much. There's so many possibilities in space. So many new adventures, new lifes. I find it comforting in a way. It makes it seem like nothings as big of a deal as we make it. Knowing there's so much more to an existence than just living here, on this massive rock is weirdly soothing to think about. I like to wonder if you're one of those stars, watching us, looking after us. If you are, I bet you're the brightest star in the galaxy, because you always had the brightest smile in the world.

From Nancy.
