as a small Cale watches his mother get ready to leave for a village.
Cale gave his mother a hug wishing he could go but his mother didn't want to.
as Cale watched his mother leave prayed for her to come back safe and healthy.
then his butler Ron took Cale back to his room so he could study.

days passed it was now night time he heard loud noises coming from downstairs.
he got off his bed with a teddy in hand as he walked to where the noise was he saw..
his mother was hurt!
he heard many yelling..
he walked up to Ron to ask what was going on but he was afraid as Ron walked to him.

"young master let's head to your room now"

as Ron took him in his arms..
Cale was confused but then he asked Ron.

"Ron what happen why are they screaming downstairs and what happens to mommy?"

Ron looked at him with sad eyes..
as he walked the hall with Cale in hand.

"your mommy got hurt but don't worry she- the doctors will help them"

Cale looked more worried..
as he remembered he prayed for his mother to come back healthy!

'was it his fault mommy got hurt!'

as Ron tucked Cale back in his bed and read him a story..
Cale pretend to sleep but couldn't sleep his head was full of negative thoughts.

as hours passed Cale who was still awake got up to go find his mother.
he found her lying on the bed with many scars!
he walked to her and held her hand..
he saw her eyes open and look at him..

"baby?"

Cale got more worried..

"mommy what happened why are you-"

his mother smiled bitterly..
Cale wanted to cry when he saw that..
his mother closed her eyes as she slept.
Cale prayed while holding her hand for her to get better...

Cale watched in a panic when the doctor said she was gone!
Cale who thought.

'no, it- didn't work...'

Cale cried in Ron his arms..

he wasn't crying...
many said he was so heartless..
he comforts his father.
and he promised himself after all that has happened...
