"I'm here." Rey says with her blue lightsaber ignited.
"We haven't been properly introduced. My name is Commander (F/N) (L/N). I will take joy in killing you slowly." I point my saber at her. "You can thank Kylo Ren for that!" I sprint at the new jedi and swing my red lightsaber to her. She deflects me as our weapons screech and clash purple sparks. I continue my offensive fight and throw swing after swing. Her own skills barely keep up as she let's out a small yelp everytime I hit her saber. I lunge as she jumps backwards, stumbling in the process. I jump and swing my sabers over my head with strength to perform a powerful blow. Her saber takes the hit as she falls to the ground. I continue to push, hoping her own blue weapon would do the dirty work. At this point, our struggle is a battle of force ability and I am clearly winning. "You seem to know what you are doing, Rey. Unlike Kylo, you actually think about your moves. If only I taught you instead." I smile are her as I can only daydream about her capabilities.
She grits her teeth to muster up any strength possible. She slips her leg under me and kicks me as hard as she could. I fall back onto the ground and roll backwards onto my feet back into a stance. Rey takes the two second window of opportunity and begins to strike down on me. I block her attack with my weapon, and send a small force push to her torso. It catches her off guard and she takes a few steps back to balance herself.
We both scream, ready to strike at one another, winding up our strength. We stop.
Rey and I immediately sense another presence near us. Our attentions turn to a pathway not too far away.
A familiar, raspy dark laughter echoes from the pathway. "You are strong in the force. Come, my children."
Rey and I look back at eachother as we both nod in a silent agreement with one another. She begins to lower her blue lightsaber, as I deactivate my two red ones. "(F/N), can we agree to put aside our differences just this once?"
"No, but I suppose my revenge on Kylo can wait a little longer."
We cautiously walk together on the pathway in a tense and nervous silence. The sounds of a rushing waterfall echoes louder as we trek closer to the opening. Blue lightning constantly hits the ground around us, creating bits of light that cast upon the many statues of stone. They are Sith. I soon realize that the sounds are not water, but in fact cheering of a thousand voices. The opening takes us to a dark arena like place. I look up and over and then to Rey, who is also scanning the massive environment with awe. The cheering then stops and a uniformed chant escapes the crowd into whispers. Whispers that I know so fondly in my dreams. They are the whispers of the Sith Eternal. Snoke has spoken briefly about this before his murder. I turn and see a jagged but symmetrical rock formation. It is a stone throne and it is empty.
You want it.
I shake my head. "No. I dont." I say to myself, answering the whispers.
"Long have I waited," The voice appears from the ghastly shadows. "for my grandchild to come home." A hooded figure smiles at Rey. The machines behind him move, showing that Palpatine is connected to them, in a cyborg like manner.
"Rey?" I flick my attention to her in confusion. "Rey Palpatine?" I watch as she stares at the decaying man in discomfort, but curiosity keeps her listening.
"I never wanted either of you girls dead. I wanted you here."
I step forward. "I understand your interest in your own bloodline, but why me?"
"(F/N) (L/N). The force within you is like no other. The traditional marriage route did not succeed, but I cannot blame you for Kylo Ren's incredulous insolence. The extraction of DNA from you two will do quite nicely."
