Looking out the window into the view in front of him, Satoru Hiiragi smiled. He was in an extremely good mood today. His plan was going smoothly and everything was falling into place. Even though there was a slight detainment, it had been handled quite easily and now all he had to do was wait for the results.

"Where is she? She should be here already," he told the young man sitting behind him

"It seems like she hasn't been able to leave. There's still time so if she has to she can sneak out or we can use the emergency call trick..." Yusuke Kajima said eying his phone probably checking the text from his coworker.

"She does need to hurry, otherwise this is going to be all for nothing..." Satoru said not really worried, he knew that Tachibana-san would find a way to slip out, he had made sure to I've her the right motivation to do so...

"I will let her know, sir..." Kajima said typing away on his phone, then looking up just as Satoru was taking a seat at his desk.

"What is it? You want to tell me something so out with it," He said

"N-no, sir. I..." Kajima sputtered looking around the room for an escape

"Just say it, it's not like I don't know what you're going to say,"

With a resolved sigh, the young man looked up at him and said,

"Is it really okay to trick them like this, sir? I mean even though their contract allows it isn't this going a little bit too far?"

"You said it yourself Kajima, It was in the contract. A contract the two of them signed willingly. This is the real world Kajima and they both know the consequences of their actions very well, better than you could imagine,"

"But, still, sir. They're our star writers. Doing this will make us lose them for sure."

"If those two were going to be chased away by something like this. then they wouldn't be our star writers. They're much more resilient than they may look. and there's no other company that will be able to handle them the way we do... They won't leave us easily..." Satoru said leaning forward and watching the young innocent man as he tied himself into knots struggling with his conscience.

Just when it seems that he was about to say something, his phone pinged indicating a message. scanning the content he slowly looked up,

"She's out. She's on her way here..." He said with

"Wonderful. Now, why don't we put the show into place? It's been a while since I've organized such an extravaganza. This should be interesting." he said putting his finger on the button on the phone beside him, " Send the message out, they're ready..." He spoke

"Yes, sir." The secretary said with a clipped tone that was her signature move.

Satoru stood again and went to his liquor cabinet and selected a bottle pouring a drink for himself and one for the young editor behind him, handing the flustered man the cup, he lifted his up smiling with satisfaction,

"What shall we drink to? Hmm, let's say. To new beginnings..."

"Woah, that was one hell of a fast exit..." Jun said a few moments after Iori's editor left the room in a hurry.

"Tell me about it..." Iori said watching the closed door intently

"Well, it seems like our plan failed. They were so eager to leave that I felt like a bad boss keeping his employee overtime..."

"Me too, I mean did you see that smile when I told her that she could leave?" Iori said wryly
