After leaving Pierre, I went straight back to the Ferrari garage where I was greeted by Isa and Charlotte with a hug.
" Why does it still hurt?" I asked with a muffled voice while I hugged Isa
" Because you're still healing and you really loved him" Charlotte answered as she gently rubbed my back, trying to calm me down
"Carlos and Charles are doing interviews, as soon as they're back we'll go straight to the hotel" Isa said releasing the hug.
"Hey, we just saw Pierre with red eyes, what-" Charles didn't finish his sentence once he saw that I too had bloodshot eyes
" What happened?" Both Ferrari drivers asked as they walked up to me
"He wanted another chance, I said no cause I was still broken from last time" I answered
" That's what really happened? You're not covering it up so I won't beat the crap out of him" My brother asked as he hugged me
" No Carlos, I'm not lying" I replied as I grabbed my stuff to finally leave the paddock.
The way to the parking lot was quiet between us, of course we had the environmental noise from tifosi who were aching to get a picture with the boys which made the walk to the cars a bit chaotic.
Once we finally reached the cars, I noticed that Lewis was making his way towards us with Roscoe by his side. I waved at him, he waved back and spoke up once he was close enough to hear.
"Hey little Sainz, good to see you back here" he said giving me a high five " Hey Lew, glad to be back" I said with a sort of fake smile
After that I pretty much didn't pay attention to what Lewis and rest were saying because I was too entertained playing with Roscoe and also watching Pierre walk over to his car and drive away.
"Hahaha, I can see who you missed the most out of everyone here, Roscoe seems entertained" Lewis said as he and the rest watched me scratch the dogs belly
"Yep, 100% missed Roscoe the most" I joked back
" I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that" my brother joked too, making us all laugh
" Well, see you guys tomorrow, congrats once again on Pole position Carlos, you deserve it man" Lewis said before making his way to his car with Roscoe trailing behind
Soon enough we were back at the hotel, well I was back at the hotel because the lovely couples decided to go out on a double date for lunch. I was up in my room watching tv when I heard knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I asked before getting up to open the door
"Your favorite driver" A voice answered back, making me smile as I knew exactly who it was
Once I opened the door, I felt that I was pulled into bear hug, making me smile
" Hey honey badger, missed you" I said returning the hug
"Thought you had forgotten me" he said pulling away
I shook my head and smiled, inviting him to come inside
"So, tell me what happened with Gasly today?" He asked as he sat on the bed next to mine, staring straight at me
My eyes widened at his question " What makes you think something happened?" I asked turning the tv off.
Daniel then gave me a look that I didn't know what it meant. Either he had seen me walk with Pierre, saw me walk out of Alpha Tauri crying or Yuki saw what happened and blabbed it out for all of the F1 world to know.
