I stood by listening as my sister asked Rose if she needed a ride. Rose gives her a small smile before she says,
" I'm sorry but Nate will be here to pick me up. "
She looked at me giving me the are you serious right now look. Ignoring her stare asked the question anyway.
" Who's Nate? "
I asked annoyed that she would say another man's name.
" He's my Dad. Not that I owe you an explanation. "
She answered.
I rolled my eyes and sigh.
