Emily's P.O.V~

"Dad, are you in? It's Emily." I knocked again. After Peter and Isobel left, I decided to go see my dad since it may be for the last time. I had to go into hiding according to Nick Fury and that meant that my dad could be put in possible danger. "Dad." I knocked again. This wasn't like him. He was always in his house these days and always opened up on the first knock.

Eventually I used the key under the mat to get in, even though it was only meant to be used in emergencies. The lights were dark in the house and all the doors down the hallway were closed. The only doors my dad ever closed were the front door and the bathroom door, even then it was a 50/50 chance.

"Dad?" I called out, opening the kitchen door as I went. It was empty. Literally, everything was out of place and spilled onto the floor. If my dad was here and saw this then he would of cleaned it up by now, not just left it.

I continued walking until I heard rubber squeaking from the room next to me.

Grabbing I kitchen knife on the counter, I creeped over to the room, prepared for any bitch that jumped out at me. As I opened the door and stormed in with the knife poised, I realised that nothing was going to jump out at me, but there was a bitch in the room.

Stacey leant against my dad who was duct taped by his shoulders, feet and mouth against a leather chair. "Dad." I breathed.

"Oh, look," Stacey grinned. "Just like old times."

"Except this time you're not going to get fired. You're going to get stabbed." I lifted the knife higher.

Her dark brows raised, "Is that so? Because, you see, if you even try anything, daddy here gets a little needle in the back of his head." She revealed a shiny needle full of liquid from behind her back and aimed it for my father.

"Wait!" I screamed, and reluctantly dropped the knife to the floor, flinching as it hit the ground with a clink. "I'll do anything, just don't hurt him. Let's talk first."

"Here's the deal. You come with me to HYDRA and I let daddy go. You don't, boom, daddy dies. Is that clear enough for you?"

I shook my head, "I need more. What happens when I get to HYDRA?"

Stacey rolled her eyes, "Well, Strucker's pissed off that you managed to kill one of his people so first punishment comes. After that, you won't remember a thing."

My dad let out a painful whine and tried to pull against the duct tape. Stacey, thankfully, ignored him and walked towards me as I nodded. "I'll go. Just don't hurt anyone."

She smirked before pulling a gun from out of a nearby draw and pushing the barrel deep into my lower back. My breathe cut short and I began to walk forward. I had been held at gunpoint enough times to know how this worked.

As I walked outside, into the morning light, I saw the HYDRA van parked outside.

God, do they honestly not have any other cars? I thought as Stacey rolled open the door. She's rolling opening the door, meaning both her hands must be free. I quickly glanced at her and saw the gun tucked into the back of her pants.

As she came behind me to push me in, I did the first thing I could think of and head butted her. "AH!" She screamed and I felt a warm liquid fly into my hair and hit my neck. Had I just...Had I just broken her nose? I grinned to myself before pushing her to the floor, the same time she grabbed my loose hair and pulled me to the concrete as well. My scalp ached but I managed to reach for the gun that laid across the grass from me, and turn the safety off within the time we both stood up.

Stacey had blood trickling from her nose deep into her mouth and her nose twisted at an angle that was meant to be impossible. Her hands rose to surrender, but it wasn't enough. "Do it." Her hoarse voice encouraged me to point the gun at her face. "Get me back for everything I ever did to you. Kidnapping you...twice, stabbing you and ruining you. Do it, Emily. You deserve it."

I could feel the gun wobble in my hand. "FIGHT BACK, GOD DAMMIT! FIGHT BACK, YOU BITCH!" My eyes soured. My face became wet with a river of tears. "I don't want to do this." I wasn't like the people at HYDRA, I wasn't a killer. But I needed to do this, she wouldn't let me go if I did. Me and Peter, we would never be safe. My father? Dead. Everyone I love would be gone if I didn't pull the trigger.

"You're right, Stacey," I whispered as her face began to freeze again. She didn't think I'd actually do it. "You do deserve this." At that moment a gunshot echoed through the air.

I collapsed to my knees on the grass as Stacey flew backwards unconscious with a gaping hole in her forehead. Blood trickled from every inch of her face.

Finally, she was dead. But when I looked back at the gun in my hand, I realised I hadn't even shot it until someone collapsed behind me. "IZZY!" I screeched.

My hands were cut by the concrete as I scrambled towards her. The corner of her mouth bled and her stomach was wide open, covered in blood, as well as her hands which were trying to put pressure on the wound, very weakly, however. "No. No. No." I repeated. "What do I- What do I do?"

She slowly smiled, a tear trickling down her face whilst her eyes glassed over. "I see the stars." She whispered before growing limp in my arms. It was only then I realised, she was my friend, she was another Alice. She was my protector and I'd be dead without her.

"HELP ME!" I screamed and thrashed around on the spot, trying to wake Izzy up. "SOMEONE HELP ME! I NEED HELP!"

Only then did three black SUVs come swinging around the corner, Nick Fury and the Diamond girl both stepping out of one at the same time. They stared at Izzy on the ground whilst other S.H.I.E.L.D agents surrounded the area and called in paramedics. Nick slowly walked towards me and held a hand on my shoulder.

Whilst I sat, weeping and weeping for someone who would never wake up again.
