Peter's P.O.V~
Harry and I had been fighting for at least ten minutes. He was good and he wasn't giving up. I had tried to take him down with my webs at least fifteen times and every time he managed to move out of the way. "Harry, STOP!" I yelled at him.
He did the opposite and smirked before aiming a dagger at my head. The same type of dagger that had gotten Izzy. I gasped and ducked just in time for it to catch my cheek, "Rude." I muttered under my breathe. But as I faced him, he was frozen in his tracks. The wind blew through his brown hair and his grey eyes bore into mine.
"Peter?" He stared, confused. "Peter."
My stomach dropped, how did he-? The wind hit my cheek and I noticed the dagger had ripped a part of my mask off. Enough to reveal half my face. "Harry, I can-"
"You-You betrayed me? Like this?" He pointed around.
"Wait a second, you were the one just trying to kill me."
"I THOUGHT YOU WERE SPIDER-MAN." He yelled.
It took me every last inch of my will power not to web his mouth shut just then and there. "I am." I said.
"How could you do this to me?" He breathed.
"I could ask you the same question." I quipped back. "What happened to you, Harry? Who did this to you? Was it your dad?"
"Don't talk about him." Harry snarled. "He ruined me, Peter."
"No, you're ruining you. Stop this, Harry, you can walk away and be safe. We can be friends again."
"You think that's what I want?" He clenched his fists and shook. I had only seen Harry cry twice before, when his mom died, when his dad died. Now it was the third time. "I want to stop hearing these fucking voices in my head, Peter. I want to stop going crazy and out of my mind! Please, please, please. Help me!"
His shouts were the only thing that cut the silence. He collapsed to his knees, not caring the cuts he made on his hands and he fell onto all fours; screaming and tearing at the floor. "I can't."
The grey eyes snapped back to mine, red and puffy from tears. "Why not?"
"Because," I stated slowly making my way over to him. I kneeled and placed a strong hand on his shaky, small shoulder. "I can't hurt my own brother."
The tears stopped and he stared at me. Within a second he had managed to claw the sleeve off of his top off. I gasped as I noticed the green scales that travelled up and down his arm. "I'm turning into something different, Peter. If you don't help me. This- this thing, it won't be your brother." I felt his hand reach to the side where the small black gun Izzy gave me lay.
"Harry, no, I can't."
He hugged me, engulfing me into a warmness that I thought I would never feel again. "If you won't, I will."
I sniffled and whimpered as I reached for the gun in his hands, taking it and pointing it into the back of his head where I held him tight. "Forgive me, brother." I cried. I pulled the trigger and together we both slowly fell to the ground. A warm liquid, blood, oozed onto my cheek as I pulled him tighter to me, trying to remember what it was like to think of never letting him go.
The wind blew around us, sweeping up any piece of pain that Harry had left...and giving it to me, in return.
