- Byler - "Do you love me?"

• Chapter 2 •

It was the next day (8am) and Mike woke up before Will, while Will was still asleep.
Mike decided to put his sleeping bag away, and go shower and get dressed as he waits for Will to wake up.

(about 32 minutes later) it's now 8:32 am

Mike finished his shower, got changed, and he brushed his teeth while he was at it.

Will finally woke up, as he saw Mike was not there. He got up and put his sleeping bag in his backpack, that he brought to Mikes to spend the night.

Mike decided to go check if Will was awake yet, so he started going down the steps.
As he got to the bottom he saw Will packing up his sleeping bag.

"Did you sleep okay, little Byers?"
Mike asked with a smile on his face.

"y-yeah, uhm I have to leave at 4pm. Just thought you might wanna know"
Will said blushing while looking at the floor, in a bit of shock that Mike called him, little Byers.

"Oh alright! What do you want to do??"
Mike asked with an exited yet confused face.

"Uhm, do you wanna t-talk"
Will was stuttering a bit cause he was embarrassed to ask that for some reason, he especially didn't know what to talk about.
All he knew was he wanted to hear the voice of
Mike Wheeler.

"Sure! I'd love to talk!! But what do you wanna talk about?"
Mike said with an exited voice as he looked at Will.

"Well, uhm. How's your relationship with El (Eleven).."
Will hated the topic, he hated hearing what Mike has to say about his 'perfect' girlfriend..
Will hated every second of talking about it, but he never hated El.

"It's been okay I guess. I'm thinking of breaking up with her, she barley talks to me anymore. She's always hanging out with Max. I don't even know if I'm even considered her boyfriend anymore."
Mike said with an upset yet soft tone.

"Your going to break up with her?!"
Will said in a shocked voice.
As inside of Will there was a huge party
Inside he felt so happy.
He could finally see if Mike loved him.

"Yeah, but let's forget about that! Do you uhm.
Maybe want to stay again on Friday?"
Mike said with somewhat an embarrassed voice.
He didn't know why he was embarrassed about that.
Let alone that he felt a little warm inside.
Mike decided to ignore it.

"Wait really?! I'd love too!!"
Will said excitedly with a bright smile.

That's cute..
Wait what am I thinking?!
Mike said to himself. Not out loud, but in his head. 

Will was so exited, because ever since Mike started dating El. Mike and El always hanged out,
Will never got to hang out with his best friend.
Which that would make him upset.
But he's finally going to stay with his best friend.
He was so exited, that Mike would finally pay attention to him, and would want to hang out with him.

Will got so exited, that he ran up to Mike and tightly hugged him.

Mike was in bit of shock, but he hugged Will back.

"Mike I have a question."
Will said, while stepping away from Mike.

"What is it, Will?"
Mike responded, looking confused.

"Have you maybe ever, thought of liking... uhm boys?"
Will asked, looking at the floor. Scared of what response Mike would give.

"never thought of it, why?" Mike responded.

Will looked up at Mike and thought to himself
that gave it away. He doesn't like me.

"No reason Mikey.."
Will said in an upset tone, looking down at the floor.

Mike than became confused, he walked up to Will. And lifted Wills chin with his finger.
"Will look at me."

Will was going into panic mode, he felt like butterfly's in his stomach, felt warm inside, he was blushing. He was a little confused.
But he looked Mike in the eyes.

"W-what?"
Will questioned in shock staring into Mikes eyes.

"Tell me why you asked that, and why do you keep looking at the floor."
Mike said, wanting a response.

"I- I uhm, I just wanted to k-know."
Will panicked, wondering what to say to Mike.

"Then why do you keep looking at the floor."
Mike said, in confusion.

"I-I don't know"
Will responded, still staring into Mikes eyes.

Mikes finger was still holding up Wills chin
Will was still looking into Mikes eyes
Mike as well was looking into Wills eyes
Wills eyes moved, he was now looking at Mikes lips.
Mike felt some sort of feeling, yet he didn't know what, or how to explain it.
He felt a sudden urge to perhaps Kiss Will.
Will was still staring at Mikes lips.
Will didn't know what he was feeling either.
Will bit his own lip, looking at mikes lips.
He didn't understand what this feeling was.
But he knew what it was.
And he just wanted to Kiss Mike
But thought that if he did, Mike would think he's disgusting.

"I KNEW IT"

Both the boys (Will & Mike) looked at the stairway in shock, as Lukas and Dustin watched.

Mike turned his head at Will
Then Will turned his head to Mike.
Mike put his finger down not holding Wills
Chin anymore.
Will was still looking at Mike though, but he stepped back. Realizing that they were so close to each other.
That they could feel each others body heat.

Mike was shocked in the whole situation, he never felt an urge to want to kiss someone like that.
Mike was reconsidering if he liked boys.

Will turned to Dustin and Lukas at the top of the stairway
"Guys it's not what it looks like"
Will said, a bit scared

"Are you su-"
Lukas said as Mike cut him off

"It's exactly what it looked like" Mike said over Lukas

Lukas and Dustin were in shock looking at each other than looking back at Mike and Will

Will looked at Mike, and blushed a little.
"W-what M-Mike, you d-don't know what they m-mean."

"I know exactly what they meant."
Mike said staring into Wills eyes, with a smirk. then looking back at Lukas and Dustin

Will was blushing a lot, he felt that feeling again. Warm inside with butterflies in his stomach.
If Mike really knew what it meant, then why'd he say it was exactly what it looked like.

Mike looked back at Will, and walked closer to him.
Again to the point they felt each other's body heat, Will looked up at Mike. Confused but in shock, he didn't know why Mike came so close to him.

Mike bent down a bit because of the hight difference, to where they were the same hight.
Mike then cupped Will cheeks.
Will was in shock, and didn't know what to expect.
Mike then leaned in.
Wills eyes widened, as the feeling of warmth and butterflies intense.
Soon enough their lips were touching.
Will was in shock
I thought Mike didn't like boys?!
Will said in his head.
Mike closed his eyes.
And soon enough the two boys were
Kissing.
Will felt his face burn up, he knew his face was so red.
Will didn't care after a millisecond though
This might be a one time thing so I'm going along with it
He thought to himself.
And he did, he went alone with it.
He rapped his arms around Mikes neck.
And started kissing Mike.

Lukas and Dustin's jaws both dropped, they swore their jaws were on the floor.
There eyes were wide open as they watched
Mike and Will kiss with Wills arms rapped around Mikes arms.
Mike slowly let go of Wills cheeks.
As he moved his hands down to wills waist.

Dustin and Lukas were so shocked.
Like if they found out their grandmas died, shocked.
"Guys we get it- you can stop making out now-"
Lukas said, with his eyes wide open.

Mike felt the urge.. the urge to want more.
But he was fighting that urge.
He's never felt this way before, he's kissed El before.
But it never felt like this..
Mike had a desire for more..
and he didn't understand why.
