Third Persons P.O.V
------------------------

~One Month Later~

Mitch was rough.

It had been a month since the whole situation, yet every time somebody brought up Scott, he lost it. They weren't together anymore, but they still loved each other. Kirstie had to check on them every single day because Mitch wouldn't eat voluntarily and Scott wouldn't move without somebody being with him.

Scott was okay.

He was the guiltiest he's ever been. But, still, Alex came over to talk to him. And he didn't stop it. When Alex kissed him, he didn't stop it. He let it happen and was okay. Why, you ask? He missed Mitch. He missed his hugs, his kisses, and his cuddles. He knew he deserved this, though. He was the reason for it.

School was awkward.

Mitch's P.O.V

"Mitch, come on. It's been a month already and you still haven't gotten over it. You need to realize that he cheated on you and you couldn't do anything about it," Kirstie said, comforting me at the same time.

"Was I not good enough?" I asked weakly.

"Honey, scott made a big mistake when he did this to you. And he knows it. I stop by him on a daily basis and he's messed up, Mitch. He won't talk unless it's about you. He doesn't move when Alex is with him."

"Alex?" Nobody told me about him...

"I don't think Scott wants him over. He's just to weak to protest. Alex is a fucking monster," she said. I nodded slowly, trying to take in all of the information I had just received.

I saw Scott walking with his head low and his arms wrapped around himself.

I wanted to give him a hug, I really did, but it wasn't right.

"Scott?" Kirstie said. He lifted his head up and tilted his head to the side. "Are you okay? Do you need help?" Kirstie asked. He shook his head, clearly answering both questions.

I honestly felt bad for him.

"Wait, Scott," I said quietly.

He stopped in his tracks as his head shot up, probably surprised to hear me talk to him.

I walked over and handed him a little piece of paper that read;

"Come over later.

We need to talk.

- Mitch"

I walked away and was on to my next class.

"Mitchie!"

"Hey, Trav," I said, giving him a smile. "Someone's awfully happy today!" Travis said, smiling. "I'm just glad to sort things out with Scott today," I sighed. He nodded in agreement.

Scott bumped into Mitch, causing him to drop his books.

"S-sorry," he sniffled. Was he crying? "Scott, are you okay?"

"F-fine," he said before walking away.

"Scott, stop! Something's wrong and I know it."

"Don't worry about me, Mitch. Just go to your next class and I'll leave you alone. I'm sorry, I just really need to be alone right now."

"Sorry for the inconvenience."
