I was working at the Garrison at my normal shift there was nobody in here beside Tommy it was quiet

"Get another glass" he said As I did and walked over to him Sitting it down he starts filling it with alcohol

" can you make a toast?" He asked I grab my glass As I nod my head

" May ya be in heaven a full Half hour before the devil knows ya're dead" I said clicking my glass onto his and taking a sip

" what are we celebrating?" I Asked

" contract of employment"he Says unfolding a piece of paper Sitting it in front of me

" Book keeper Shelby Brothers limited" I read from the paper

"I don't like the word limited" he said

"To be respectable ye have to be limited"

"Yeah that's what worries me"

"Oh Grace put a phone in" I said as he turns around and looks at me

"In the back" I said

" if we know someone else who has a phone we could call" he said as I let out a small laugh

" and since we are celebrating .... I had this delivered from one of my clubs" I said sitting the champagne bottle in front of him he picks it up and looks at it

"Will ya Open it?"I asked

"No... save it for a special occasion" he says as I nod my Head when Grace walks in

"Right your first job for the company...I want you to give this to my sister"

"Ye don't see her?" I asked

" nobody does she's in hiding for me i'm told she goes to the bathhouse on montague street on Women only day She goes in disguise so I need someone inside"

" what am I delivering?"

"It's an invitation to a family occasion I want her there so tell her there will be a truce"

"Am I delivering bait for a trap?"

"If you check that contract I think you'll find it doesn't say anything about asking questions just give her the invitation....and put that thing in cupboard until I say" I roll my eyes but do what he said i'm grabbing the ladder and grabbing my coat.

" would you like me to walk with you?" Grace asked

"Umm..ya ye can... I don't know where it is though so" I said with a smile as we walk out the door

It was later that evening I already gave the letter to his sister like told it was my night off I got a cup of tea and Set in front of my fireplace on a blanket with a pillow in the floor with a book  as I was reading there was a knock on my door I look to the door in confusion getting up to answer it

"Tommy?" I said opening the door looking around

"What...what are ye doing here"I asked he doesn't say anything just stares at me

"Tommy?...come inside"I said grabbing his hand he doesn't say anything as I pulled him in closing the door behind us

"Tommy?"I said again Putting my hand on the side of his face making him look down at me As his eyes Go to mien

"My sister had her baby"he said As I move my hand away from his face

"Oh.. so she made it to ya family thing? It took me and Grace a long time to find the place ye where talkin about... congratulate her for me" I said with a small smile walking back to the fireplace sitting on the blanket
