there is millions of things I can't
Understand but I know for sure
that I'm in love with you.

The young girl ventured deep
into the forest in seek of the bird she
had just caught, loving the breeze that
caressed her face. As she sought
for the bird a smell of burning flesh
led her to a makeshift camp that
included a tent, a wooden-doored
bathroom, and a fire pit that appeared
to be steaming something. She
hurriedly got off her horse and tied it
to a nearby tree before turning to
swiftly check out the camp, which was
as she had suspected. white fur on
the ground, Blood on the knife's edges
and meat on the grill. Later on, she
discovered a head covered in blood on
her left side.and at that point she
knew the proprietor of the camp had
stolen her prey.

"Brother?" A girl wearing a nightgown
emerged from the tent, rubbing her
eyes as she adapted to the light and
saying, "Are you not Brother?"
The moment she realized a stranger
has invaded their home and
violated their privacy she immediately
retreated after becoming alarmed.
"Did you come to take us back to
the palace? I'd rather die than return to that men!" She carried on, Frightened. hastily returning to
the tent where she had hidden.
leaving Erika mystified

she had risen
from the tree that appeared to have
been felled for a seat; it had
scratches all over it and was very
untidy, but it was cozy and perfectly
situated next to the blazing fire and
splendid stars. Erika didn't desire to get
up, but she soon realized she had to
check on the young girl.

As she
cautiously approached the tent, she
saw the girl concealed in the nook of
the tent and draped in a thin blanket.
The sight made her heart ache. Lacking
words, she made an awkward attempt
to embrace her, assuring her that
she did not intend to take her away
and that she was a regular person.
Upon exchanging names, the girl
became more composed.

"What a pretty name Madeline is.
May I call you Maddy?" Erika made the
bright little girl chuckle when she said,
"It's my pleasure, brother calls me that"
she said, making Erika wonder if
perhaps her brother was in fact the
bird thief. Erika started enquiring
Maddy regarding her thieving brother.
He usually prepares the meals and
the majority of the items, she learned
as they conversed further. Erika
replied, "Heh, it appears like he would
be good for the title bride rather than
brother," causing the two females to
burst into laughter "it seems I've got
someone's attention"

A voice was heard as a men came into the tent. Erika was suprised to why she hadn't heard him walking she had
quite the perfect hearing. She shut her eyes closed due to the moonlight Upon
realizing that the men loosened his
grip on the veil as his face became
more visible under the lights behind
him. When Erika realized who it was
surprise grew even larger "Brother!!
You're safely home, have you
managed to get any eggs?" Maddy
said running over to her brother as
Erika gradually got to her feet "Oh yes I have, I see you've made a new mate Greetings, once again Erika!" He spoke. She was certain it was him now "Aiden! I'm glad to meet you again " she remarked as Maddy glanced at them confused "do you happen to know each other?" Maddy inquired. They nodded
Aiden informed Maddy what had
occurred a few days earlier while Erika
ran her fingers through her hair and
pulled it back into a ponytail.

Aiden entered the tent carrying the
freshly-grilled meat while still
perspiring from the steam coming from
it. He served them their meal and sat
down next to them. He did so while
wiping his wet face with his sleeve.
When Erika noticed this, she handed him
her handkerchief. He glanced at the
red-headed girl stretching her arm for
him. He praised her for being so
sweet before snatching the cloth away from her grasp. Their fingers briefly
met, but she immediately withdrew
them, her cheeks turning a shady pink.
He ran his fingers over the sloppy
sunflower drawn onto the handkerchief
before wiping away the last of his
sweat. He did so without noticing the
blue pupils focusing on his addictive face.

As the sun sank, the moon's light
replaced the former. Erika was so
consumed with the pair of siblings'
stories and humor that she forgot how
late it had become. Aiden offered her
to stay the night as they had an extra
mattress. Fully knowing the trouble she
would likely encounter upon her
return home, Erika gladly accepted the
offer. Erika wasn't much of a traveler,
so hearing tales like theirs astounded
her. She found that things she had
previously believed to be the preserve
of literature and the imagination
were now being described by
someone else, giving her newfound
hope. She might have simply needed
to witness it for
