Patched up the hole in my heart
That you left when you walked away
Surprised as to how you got past my walls in the first place
But somehow you came in and swept me away
The next thing I knew I was falling
When I was close to the ground though
Your arms weren't there to catch me
I landed hard with tear stained eyes and a broken heart
Took me some time, but when I dried my eyes and stood back up
I patched the hole in my heart
And told myself to never let this happen again
