"dustin, what do you dream about at night?" katya asked her friend on the radio, laying down on her bed.
"what do you mean, kat?" dustin inquired, the radio in his hand as he laid on his bed as well.
"well, what are your ambitions, what are your goals and what dreams do you have?" she put the radio on her pillow, turning her body towards it.
there was silence for a moment until he finally responded, "i don't know. i guess to just finish school in one piece. how about you, what do you dream about at night?"
in all honesty, katya had never thought about it.
as she was about to reply, she felt a twinge on the back of her neck, and she winced.
"kat?"
"kat, are you there?"
she felt the radio vibrate with her friends voice but she couldn't respond. katya's body was heating up and she could feel a burning sensation going up and down her spine. sweat covered her body and she wanted to scream for her friend to get her dad but no words escaped from her lips.
"KATYA!"
