Jades POV-

After Hayden got back home I hit him once over the head. Hard.

Then I told him about the ghost watching me.

Hayden- "WHAT?! THATS CREEPY MAN! It's even more creepy that mom heard the noise although your room is soundproof."

Me- "You know that's right." I said in my Burton Guster voice.

Hayden- "Why can't I see him??"

Me- "I guess you take more after mama. I must've got more of Hades's powers."

Hayden- "That's not fair!"

Me- "life's not fair. Now. Get out. I'm gonna get ready for dinner. Then I'll come down and make it. Go shower. You stink."

Hayden scoffed.

Hayden- "You're very rude."

He then oh so subtly smelt himself.

His face scrunched up in disgust.

Hayden- "okay.. yeah. I see what you meant."

I then shooed him out of my room and turned around.

Me- "AH! Holy Hades!"

Jackson- "Oh hoo oh. You kiss your mother with that mouth? 😏"

I slapped him.

Me- "You startled me! And yes. Yes I do."

Jackson rubbed his head in pain.

Before he could say anything else I said.

Me- "Can you do that ghosty thing and disappear? I need to shower and get ready for dinner."

He rolled his eyes

Jackson- "You're 6 you shouldn't be making food for everyone else."

Me- "I like too! But I'm serious. Get out. AND TECHNICALLY I'm 306 years old."

Jackson rolled his eyes again but disappeared.

'Finally.'

Mal- 'All by Myselfffff'

'Mal. Zip it.'

I went into the bathroom and sat in the tub.

I then conjured up a clean bucket of water, some 3 in 1 soap, and a rag.

Yes, I know I could just conjure up a shower and everything else.

But I'm 6, I'm not that mastered in my magic.

And I get physically drained from using it all the time.

Of course I don't tell anyone this, I don't want them to worry.

After I finished my shower I used a different rag to dry my hair.

I picked out a light purple tank-top and a light blue leather jacket followed by some ripped jeans.

For some reason the first hour or two when I get out of the shower my hair is a little curly.

I look at the time, 6:00 P.M.

Ok. I have 30 minutes to make dinner.

I rushed out to the kitchen and decided on something easy this time.

I seasoned 8 steaks as we all like to eat our own, then I used a little time magic to speed up the time the seasoning stayed on.
