Penelope who wanting to picnic with her brothers was rejected because lately Derrick and Reynold lessons became strict than the usual. Penelope sigh and said goodbye to her brothers. Reynold patted her shoulder telling her they are free in the weekend which made Penelope smiled brightly. The both brothers left with a carriage leaving Penelope alone. Duke is busy and she can't visit her friends without telling them first. As she was planning to go back to her room, some maids suddenly approached her and one of them pinched her. Penelope was scared and also doesn't understand why the maid did that.

" what an ugly rat. I can't believe our young masters fell for this rat "

" I agree! Even the Duke treat her like an actual daughter. "

" she is a witch. I can feel it, after lady Yvonne went missing. This child suddenly appeared to be Duke's adopted child"

Penelope shed to tears running away from the maids. She thought everyone welcomed her warmly but seem like she was wrong. Funny thing she ran to different direction of her room, she went outside instead. The guards didn't even ask why she was crying or noticed the direction she went. Penelope ran away from the Dukedom and apparently is in the forest now. She then pinch herself asking why the hell she ran all the way to forest when she can just go to her room.

She sighed and wiped her tears. As she about to go back, Penelope realized she was lost in the forest.

" shit " -Penelope

Penelope cursed a bit, thanks to Reynold and how her life in streets. She then sat down on the ground and lean against the tree.

" that's alright.. Brother Derrick will come to find me. This is just like hide and seek " -Penelope

A few minutes past, Penelope started to play with bunnies that came closer to her. She admitted it, she really love animals especially bunnies. Penelope started to humming a song that her mother used to sing to her.

As she humming, a sudden fire appear from her hand. She was shocked and about to scream scare of the pain but for a few second. It didn't hurt her. Her eyes sparkled more and giggle a bit, she wondered if it was the song she was singing. The fire disappeared from her hand, Penelope is quite disappointed and wanted to summon more fire but since she's in a forest, she decided not too.

Penelope continued playing with the rabbits. She then saw a man with white hair walking towards her with worried expression.

" how did a child like you get in here? " -Vinter

His voice sound so worried about Penelope and also scared of his life. A forest is very dangerous especially for children. He then pick Penelope up without hesitation and brought her out from the forest. Penelope didn't say anything or ask any questions about him until Vinter started to asked her again.

" how did you got into the forest, my child " -Vinter

Said Vinter who was gently patting Penelope's head.

" I was stupid and ran away to the forest.. " -Penelope

" you looked like you've cried. Did someone bully you? " -Vinter

" ... That is not of your concern, sir but thank you for worrying about me.. " -Penelope

Vinter sigh and asked Penelope where she lived but instead of Penelope telling her where is her house. She told Vinter to sent her to an arena where her brothers are. Vinter nodded and smiled and Penelope

" I'll show you magic trick but promise me you close your eyes " -Vinter

" I promise! " -Penelope

Penelope closed her eyes as she was told. A few moment later, Vinter asked Penelope to open her eyes so she did. She was amazed that she already appear in the arena. She saw Reynold and Derrick are practicing with their swords, she is very happy and excited.

" thank you Mr snow! " -Penelope

Without Penelope realizing it, she used a nickname on random stranger that helped her. Vinter gently laughed and put Penelope down

" my name is Vinter Vernandi. It's a pleasure to meet you, my child " -Vinter

" ah my name is Penelope eckart! Thank you for helping me sir Vinter " -Penelope

Vinter smiled and said goodbye to Penelope. He disappeared through thin air which shocked Penelope. Derrick in the other hand notice dark pink hair like the azalea flower appeared out of nowhere worry him

" H-hey Penny. How did you get in here? I don't see carriage or knights with you... " -Derrick

" ah! A kind man helped me come here " -Penelope

Reynold is shocked to heard an old man word came out from Penelope. He then drop his sword and start to shaked Penelope

" hey that man didn't do anything to you right?! You shouldn't follow stranger!! Did he touch your priv- " -Reynold

Reynold got a smacked on his head from Derrick. Reynold let Penelope go and rubbed his head while complaining at Derrick. He sigh and ignore Reynold and pat Penelope's head

" did the man do anything to you?.. "-Derrick

" nope, he just ask me to closed my eyes and there here I am. " -Penelope

Reynold and Derrick looked at each other and sigh. They hugged Penelope as she is very confused why they did it.

" the maids were supposed to take care of you... " -Derrick

" oh please I bet the maids harassed Penelope again. I told you we should push them off the roof " -Reynold

" I told you that was a stupid idea. Let hired assassins instead " -Derrick

Penelope push those two away and trying to cover the maids doing.

" the-they didn't harassed me I swear! I was just- making a mistake and- " -Penelope

" it is okay, brat. I want them to be fired anyway since some of them been stealing my stuff and put it on your room " -Reynold

" that was a stupid method to blame someone " -Derrick

" I know right? Penelope is too dumb and have a low eyes on stuff so why the hell she want to steal my stuff?? " -Reynold

" I am offended " -Penelope

Reynold laughed as Penelope is very offended but her upset face was cute which is making Reynold laughed even more. Derrick holding is laughing trying to change the topic.

" now you are here, how about you sit on that bench while waiting for us to finish our lesson " -Derrick

" hey why don't we make her join us on this stupid lesson? It would be more fun to see her struggling holding a sword " -Reynold

" I prefer the bench- " -Penelope

" nice idea, let's ask father about this " -Derrick

Penelope gasped and upset and Derrick which making him laughed at the end. Reynold who miss seeing Derrick laughed began to smiled and hug his siblings. True his siblings is Yvonne and Derrick but having Penelope in his life making him happier than he used to be. Penelope sigh and laughed along with her brothers.
