Once again, I notice you not so far away. You waved at me like any other day. The bright smile on your face never once fell. You never missed a day to smile and wave at me. It has my heart beating faster, and a little warmer.
You were just a bypasser, a watcher, a stranger, a nobody. Why do you keep making these efforts for me? We barely know each other? You were just a girl selling flowers from across the street, you are nothing but a mere somebody in my sight. But you leave my chest feeling warm, and I liked it. Just a bit.
I was a little surprised when you came up to me, greeted me with that iconic smile of yours. Your smile was always sublime, and it left an impression on me. You treated me in the right ways, how I wanted to be treated. With respect, and a little bit of kindness.
