After I had told Mari, Jon, and Kam I wouldn't be going with them although Jon and Kam were surprised Mari was a bit hurt

She understood and though she said she would never expect me to choose or to pack up my whole life I knew she was hurt

She was quiet for a while before she had said she needed some time

Mari has Kaalki teleportation power so she can pop in whenever she wants

The problem is she doesn't want to abuse kaalkis power it strains her because it's like using the miraculous without the suit

When she left I had decided to go visit my family since I hadn't seen them in a while

Really it was because Mar'i wanted to come over...again but we didn't mind

So that's where I am now, sat on a chair explaining everything to my family

"Please tell me you're joking" Grayson looked at me disbelief shown on his face

I stayed quiet not knowing what to say

I couldn't lie and say it was all one big joke and I didn't tell my soulmate and the love of my life that I wouldn't go with her

"Tt does it look like I'm kidding Grayson" I snapped at him clenching my jaw and balling my hands into fists

"I just don't understand why you wouldn't go what could you possibly say no for?" I looked at a clearly tired Drake with a sigh

"I can't just pack up my whole life and leave everyone behind" Dad crossed his arms and looked at me

"And none of us not even she would ever ask you to but you're almost 18 you can do whatever you want would you really rather stay here with all of us while Mari, Kam, Jon, and even Mar'i leave and start a life together?" I thought over his words before my eyebrows furrowed

"What do you mean Mar'i? You're letting her go with them?" I looked at Grayson and Star who nodded happily

"Cupcake was extremely hesitant and declined multiple times at first but eventually agreed after we told her it was fine and Mar'i through a tantrum she also didn't want to her away from all of us" I looked at them dumbfounded

They really trusted her that much that they'd allow her to go with her even if I wasn't going?

"Honestly speaking Demon you can be really dense at times. If you decide that you really don't want to go then fine. You'll regret it in the end. When everything is all said and done and they're gone. You be here with us. You really think Mari is okay with this? Yes she understands but that doesn't mean she's not hurt. Mari is a very caring person and she knew your decision even before you did. She would never make you choose between her and us. I was hoping to get rid of your ass..." Todd got hit in the head by Selina who told him to watch his language

"Alright fine the point is you'll regret your decision. We all wanted you to go and be free. Be free from this city which has caused you nothing but pain. You finally found happiness and we wanted you to take it. Instead your letting it go and for what? For us? Yes we love you but you will never be happy with us. My advice is to go back there and tell them you'll go with them. Then again that's just what I would do" he stood up and dusted off his clothes before walking out the house swinging his keys around his fingers and giving us a two finger salute

I hate when he's right I never felt happy here or anywhere that didn't include Mari

If you didn't go with them I'd be alone here sure I'd have my family but I wouldn't have Mari, Jon, Kam, even Mar'i and that would suck
