After visiting Jessica ,Sonja left her friends and went back to her home. She flopped down onto her king sized bed. The bed made a whoosh sound as she did so.  Sonja turned to her side. Her bedroom was medium sized. A few pictures of her and Max as kids hanging out together. Another of her and her mom whom she was very close with since her father left them when she was 9. Suddenly her phone starts to ring to sunshine Superman song by Donovan.
"Hello?" Sonja answers
"Hey there trouble." Alejandro teased.
"How did you get my number?" Sonja asked.
She now sat upright on the bed.
"Relax, I got it from Max." Alejandro said.
"Oh" Sonja said "I'll have to have another chat with him about that." She said annoyed. "Why are you calling me anyway?"
"I wanted to hear your voice again. I miss it." Alejandro said. It was so great to see you again today. Even if it was unexpected."
"Wish I could say the same. I got to go..." Sonja said
Alejandro stopped her.
"Wait. I was wondering if I could see you again? Catch up on things." He said
"No way. Look it's been 5 years buddy. I've moved on." She said
"Have you?" Alejandro says. "Please just meet me at Juno's tonight say 7. For drinks. Just as friends."
Sonja sighed deeply into the receiver.
"Fine." She said. "Just one drink."
"Great. See you later then." He said and hung up.

Alejandro sat at Juno's at the bar. He checked his gold watch. 7:15. No sign of Sonja. He wondered if she would even show up.
He scanned the crowd  on the dance floor. Techno music played as the people grinded against one another. The lights were dimmed and strobed. He took a sip of his heineckin. Then he saw her. Damn she looked beautiful in a knee length red dress and heels. Her mid length blonde hair fell in waves to her shoulders. Very light make up.
"So you deceived to show up huh?" Alejandro said.
"I almost did'nt." Sonja said taking a seat at the bar next to him.
He ordered them drinks.
"You look incredible." Alejandro said to her.
"This is what you have been missing over the past 5 years." Sonja said. "So why did you want to see me after all this time?"
"When I saw you earlier today I knew how badly I screwed things up back then. I never really wanted things to end." He said
"If that we're true we would have still been together." Sonja said.
"We could be again." Alejandro said.
" No. You broke my heart once I am not giving you a chance to break it again. This is a waste of time me coming here."Sonja said.
She rose from the bar stool. Alejandro grabbed her arm to stop her.
"One dance. For old times sake." He said
Sonja huffed but agreed.
Purple rain by Prince began to play. The two swayed gently to and fro. Sonja did not want Alejandro to hold her too close so she tried to put some distance between them. But Alejandro put his arm around her back. She was trapped. She looked into those dark brown eyes of his. She used to love getting lost in them. Now she hated them. Sonja looked away and tried to look anywhere but at him.
Suddenly a loud boom was heard in the room and some people screamed and began to run out of the club.
