It was the next day me and mum just headed to bed after 3 films last night because we were both dozing of but anyways I got out of my bed and went in the shower. I put shampoo, conditioner and body wash on. I got out of the shower and put some clothes on. My phone lit up and it was an incoming call from Millie I answered and we both said hello and everything then I saw a dog nose pop up on the screen making us both laugh Me and Millie were on call for hours and then we decided to go because I had to go see my dad which I wasn't looking forward to let me clarify. I headed downstairs to my dad that was in the kitchen making a drink of tea. "Hi y/n you okay" he said in soft voice and was far from expected on how I thought he was going to greet me. "Uhm yeah are you alright dad" "Absolutely fine"the silence was getting louder as the longer it went on so I decided to speak "I'm sorry about the other day dad" "I'm sorry as well I have to realise your not a kid anymore" "don't worry I know your just want to make sure I'm safe" I gave him a reassuring smile and he gave one back. He opened his arms for me to hug him and i walked over and gave him a massive and comfortable hug. Guilt filled my body as I knew I lied about going to Leah's again but I know he'll just lash out on me which isn't what I want. I stepped away from the hug and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and started boiling the kettle for a tea "so you excited for camp" "yes absolutely but I'm so nervous as well" "you'll be brilliant y/n I jsut know it" "well I wonder who I'll be sharing a room with that's what's mainly on my mind" I said making us both giggle. "Well good luck I shall say" we both had huge smiles on our faces and we had a great and fun chat together. These cute little moments I take in all at once because you never know when it's gonna be gone so you don't waste any time.
