"Library Part 2"

Sadie

I walked to the library again and I saw Lucas sitting at one of the tables. I walked over, he saw me and he got up to walk away but I stopped him.

Sadie - "Lucas, wait."

Lucas - (Sigh) "What do you want?"

Sadie - "I just want to talk. I know it's been really hard for you and I'm sorry. You're right. I look like Max but I'm not her. She was your whole world, your true love and you lost her. I also know that she would be really proud of you for being here. I'm not trying to make you feel sad or bad, I really mean it. You're a really nice guy and I can see why she fell in love with you. When I was little, I lost my parents and the only one who took care of me after that was my older brother. I wish my parents were still with me but I can't bring them back. I know what you're going through."

Lucas - "I've been so lost without her. Sometimes I think, "Why her?" She should still be here with me."

Sadie - "I know. I don't want there to be no more awkwardness between us. I want to help you get through this. Please, as a friend, let me help you."

Lucas - "....Okay."
