The Cherry Blossom's Little Shadow

Information (Read before you start)

The cover and above image are drawn by me using references! I hope you guys like it.

Below is a bunch of dot points that explains some things that I thought you should know about the characters. I will be editing this page every now and then because I might have forgotten something or changed another thing. 

I don't have an update schedule, I write purely for my enjoyment and as a way to get the ideas out of my head and onto 'paper' so they can stop bugging me.

Name: Yami

∘ Yami was abandoned by her family because she was the runt of the litter.

∘ She has black fur with yellow eyes

∘ Yami can turn from her cat form into her panther form whenever she wants.

∘ She has the ability to also shift into her shadow form whenever and nothing can harm her in that form. Everything passes through her unless she wants to interact with it. An example would be that Yami can be in her shadow form and still sit on Sakura's shoulders, if this is confusing, you'll understand better throughout the book.

∘ Yami can talk to other animals but she herself cannot accomplish human speech, she can only make the noise of a cat or panther. 

∘ Her panther form is large enough for one adult to ride or two children comfortably. She could fit three children if they are really close to each other on her back.

∘ Like a cat, Yami can see in the dark and has heightened senses. 

∘ In the beginning of the book, Sakura and the Hokage are the only ones that know about Yami's abilities. (The Hokage knows because he has seen her use her ability through his magic ball and Yami's species lives in the Forest of Death.) 

∘ Yami goes to the Academy with Sakura and helps her train afterwards.

∘ Yami can manipulate shadows when she is in her shadow form. She can make shadows become solid objects, like kunai, whips, tendrils, etc. She can also travel through shadows only when she is in her shadow form.

∘ Akamaru and Yami have a friendship of rivalry. The dog and cat have arguments and bicker almost every time they interact. Though both hold some respect for the other for their devotion to their human companion. 

∘ In the sun, Yami is not as strong as when she is in the shade or dark. The sun affects her shadow form by draining her energy slowly and reducing her attack damage and control of shadows. This doesn't mean she isn't powerful, she just fights better at night or when the sun is behind the clouds.
