Liam. He was a nice guy. I went to the bathroom. Might as well for a 14 hour flight. I dont like getting up in the middle of flights. I locked to door behind me. I pulled my hood back, and brushed my hair to hang behind my ear. I turned my head to see the cut from where my father struck me with a belt. I turned the other way. The bottom of my eye was purple and swollen. It was from when I fell down the stairs. I sighed and grunted with frustration. I guess Ill just have to let it go. It will heal.

I walked back out and headed towards to my seat. Liam looked up and smiled. His smile suddenly faded as he squinted looking at me.

"what happened to your face?" he asked.

"wow that was forward and rude, forgive me, if you dont mind me asking" he said blushing looking embarassed.

"oh um, I play soccer" I lied.

"soccer? you mean football?"

"no? soccer" I corrected.

"oh ya americans. I call soccer, football, where Im from" he said.

"oh ok. Where are you from?" I asked.

"Wolverhampton, England" he answered.

We are 5 hours into our long 12 hour flight. Liam and I have been talking back and forth for the past few hours. He seems like a nice guy. We are technically going to the same place. I am just going to stay in London. I have no idea where I'm going to stay, do, or anything. I just had to get away from my father. Im sure ill find a job, then get an apartment. Liam had fallen asleep. His soft curls hung in his face so adorably. I became so familiar with his beating chocolate brown eyes. They made my heart melt feeling so warm. So innocent. He seemed like the kind of guy that doesnt get in trouble, treats a girl right. Who am I kidding, he probably has a girlfriend. Plus I just met this guy! There's no chance. He would never like me. No one likes me.

~~~~~~
"Cece...Cece... Wake up" I heard a deep voice say. "huh? What?" I said fuzzly. "The plane's going to land soon" he said smiling. "oh ok. Thankyou" I said. The last few minutes he was chatting with me. Laughing here and there. I wish the whole flight was like this.
The plane touched down. We taxied to the terminal. As soon as the plane came to a stop and the seat belt sign went off, everyone got up to get out. Liam in front of me, I walked out. Once in the airport, he stopped and turned around. "Well this is good-bye I guess" he said sadly. "Yeah I guess so" I said almost crying. Ive never met anyone like him. "Well its been a pleasure Cece. Bye" he said waving and walking to his next destination.
"bye" I whispered.
