The three head up the tower once more, and soon rest after moving for a full hour.
Izuku: "Let's rest up. Lady needs it, Vergil."
Vergil looks back and sees Lady struggling to walk.
Vergil: "All right. Ten minutes."
Lady: "I'm *GROAN* fine! Let's just go while we have the time."
Izuku: "No, not with you injured like this."
Izuku helps her sit down. Vergil looks at her, a hint of concern in his eyes.
Vergil: "Are you alright, sister?"
Lady: "I think so. That bastard got me good, though."
Vergil looks around the tower.
Vergil: "Should take another hour or so for us to get up."
Izuku looks up at the tower and whistles.
Izuku: "Big tower. Was Mundus compensating for something?"
Vergil: "Probably."
Izuku smiles and looks over to Vergil.
Izuku: "It's nice to chat with you and not be worried about losing my head."
Vergil turns towards him.
Vergil: "The feelings are mutual little brother."
Izuku: "I'm only younger than you by four minutes."
Vergil: "Best four minutes of my life."
The two start laughing as they wrap an arm around each other's neck.
Izuku: "If you want, you can stay a permanent member of DMC."
Vergil looks at Izuku and thinks it over.
Vergil: "I don't know. I've got some things to do."
Izuku looks away, slightly disappointed.
Vergil: "But.......maybe I can put those quests for power on permanent hold."
Izuku's face brightens up, and he feels tears forming a little.
Vergil: "I'm still calling you Dante, though. Izuku doesn't suit you."
Izuku: "I'm alright with that."
The two then head back to Lady.
Vergil: "We're gonna split up. Dante will check the West Rooms, and I'll check the East Rooms. You'll check the library."
Lady slowly gets up, with the brothers helping her.
Lady: "Good idea. We'll meet up in thirty minutes."
They all nod and split up, unaware of Arkham watching them, with two demons next to him.
Arkham: "Nevan, Beowulf, get the brothers. Send a Nobody after my daughter. Her part is no longer required."
