"That was terrifying...yet completely awesome." Ellie stated, switching spots with Natasha.

Alexei leaned out the door of the helicopter, "прощай придурки" Alexei shouted, (Translation: farewell douchebags)

"Oh, that was exciting." Alexei spoke breathlessly "Oh, I'm so proud of you girls."

Ellie looked to her sisters who were also ignoring the man, "Oh, you can't hear me!" He said loudly, looking around for a headset.

"Oh, wow." He spoke into the headset, and Yelena did what they were all thinking and reached back and hit him. "Ow," he stumbled back grabbing his face.

"Ok...why the aggression, huh? Is it you time if the month?" Alexei mocked.

"I don't get my period dipshit. I don't have a uterus." Yelena stated, "Or ovaries," Natasha added.

Ellie looked between the two of them, "Yeah, that's what happens when the Red Room gives you an involuntary hysterectomy. They kind of just go in and they rip out all of your reproductive organs. They just get right in there and chop them all away. Everything out so you can't have babies."

"Ok. OKAY. OK. You don't have to get all clinical and nasty." He flopped down in one of the seats.

"Oh well I was just about to talk about fallopian tubes but okay." Yelena stated.

"It means so much to me that you came back for me." Alexei spoke, "Let me stop you right there, Alexei. We most certainly didn't come back for you by choice."

"You're gonna tell us where the Red Room is." Natasha instructed, "Woah, look at you, all business."

"Trust me this isn't pleasure." Natasha spoke dryly.

"Little Natasha, all indoctrinated into the Western agenda.

"I chose to go west to become an Avenger. Cause they treated me like family." Natasha spoke, "Really? Family? Well, where are they now? Where is that family now?"

"Permission to punch him?" Ellie arched an eyebrow at the redhead. "I say go for it." Yelena muttered.

"I may not have been trained in the Red Room but I have a mean left hook." Ellie stated.

"Tell me where the Red Room is." Natasha ordered, "I have no idea."

Natasha yanked off her headset, handing it to Ellie and marched back to Alexei. "Come on! You and Dreykov were like-"

"Dreykov? General Dreykov? My friend? Give me glory...Soviet union's first and only super solider. I could have been more famous than Captain America. Then he buries me in Ohio on that stupid mission-"

Alexei was cut off by a hand swinging at his face, he winced his hand flying up to hold his nose. "You know what, Fuck you Alexei! That 'stupid mission' was my life," Ellie motionined to Natasha and Yelena, "Our lives. So fuck you."

Natasha gently place a hand over Ellie's arm causing her to relax slightly, she exhaled and say down beside the woman.

"So, can we please throw him out the window now?" Yelena asked, "I think we should wait til we get to a higher altitude."

"Agreed. 100% agreed." Ellie nodded, still glaring at the man.

"почему бы не спросить у Мелины, где он?" Alexei asked suddenly, (translation: why not ask Melina where it is?)

Ellie's eyes widened slightly, and she murmured a quiet, "Mama" under her breath.

"Wait, Mom Melina?" Yelena asked, "We thought she was dead." Natasha added.

"You can not kill a fox that swift." Alexei scoffed, Ellie wrinkled her nose up, "Ew."

"What? She was the scientist, the strategist, I was the muscle. She worked directly for Dreykov far more than I ever did."

"Wait. Are you telling me, that Melina is working for the Red Room present day?" Natasha asked.

"She works remotely, outside of St. Petersburg." Alexei explained, "I don't think we have enough fuel for St. Petersburg." Yelena scoffed.

"No, we're good. We'll make it." Alexei insisted.

"So what has my little Elena been up to all her life?" Alexei asked turning towards the brunette.

Ellie leaned towards Natasha, "If I sit back here any longer, I'll murder him."

Ellie then proceeded to stand up and take the seat next to Yelena.

"You ok?" Yelena asked sparring a glance to Ellie, "I'm fine."

They didn't make it. Once they were all out of the helicopter Natasha had to psychically hold Elena back from lunging at Alexei.

"You should've brought the Avengers super jet." Alexei stated.

"Wow Alexei Great idea. We never would have thought of that." Ellie spoke mockingly.

"I swear if hear one more word from him, I will kick him in the face." Yelena mumbled, "I will volunteer to do it for you but Natasha won't let me." Ellie pouted.

"He's the worst." Natasha added, "Natasha." Alexei spoke from behind them.

"Natasha," he called out again, "Come here I want to ask you something."

"Come it's important." He spoke, "Yeah?"

"Come on, keep walking," Yelena said, "Yeah, yeah. He's not worth it...at least right now."

"Did he talk to you about me?" Ellie heard Alexei ask her sister softly, "What?" Natasha looked at him like he was ridiculous.

"Did he talk to you about me? You know like trading war stories?"

"Who? What are you talking about?" Natasha asked, "Captain America! My great adversary in this theater of geopolitical conflict. Not so much a nemesis. More like a contemporary, you know?"

"Wait you haven't seen any of us in twenty years and you're gonna ask me about you?"

"What is with this tension?" Alexei asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

"Oh my-" Ellie took a fast paced step towards him but Natasha pulled her back a bit. "Is that a serious question?" Yelena asked.

"I only ever loved you girls." He stated, "I did my best to make sure you would succeed to achieve your fullest potential. It made not have worked out for Elena, but for the two of you, everything worked out."

"Everything worked out?" Natasha asked, "For you, yes. We accomplished our mission in Ohio," he walked towards Yelena.

"Yelena you went on to become the greatest child assassin the world has ever known. No one can match your efficiency, your ruthlessness."

Alexei then turned to face Natasha, "And Natasha, not just a spy, not just toppling regimes, destroying empires from within but an Avenger."

"And Ellie, my dear sweet Ellie, You May be quite ordinary, but you have mean left hook." Alexei stated.

"But the two of you," he reached over for Yelena and Natasha's hands, "Have killed so many people, your ledgers must just be dripping, gushing red. And I couldn't be more proud of all of you."

This time he also pulled Ellie in, hugging the three sisters. Elena wanted to pull away, but as soon as his arms were around her and her sisters she felt like a kid again. Like she was at home for the first time in years.

Natasha shoved him away first, Yelena held on a bit longer.

"Okay, you can let go of me now. You smell really bad." The blonde stated.

Elena held on for just a few more moments, "I'm still angry with you."

Elena was scared to see Melina again. Throughout her entire life she held on to the memories of Melina being her Mama. Every bad foster parent or group home, she held on to the memories of Melina comforting her.

Now she was scared that the woman wasn't the going to be the same. Especially since it was just a stupid formulated mission.

"So, are we there yet?"
