I am not very good with speeches, but I wanted to let you know this.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to deal without a loved one, and how you always feel like you could have done more, or that maybe you did something wrong. You didn't do anything wrong. You were there for her in her final days, and that is one of the best things you could have done. You did your best to make her feel better, and she appreciated every moment she had with you. I know how hard it will be to continue with everything, and if you need to talk to me, I will take the time. If you need to vent because someone asked sensitive questions, or you saw something on TV that made you remember her, you can talk to me. I don't know you very well, but I want to be there for you if you need it.
