Irteza's POV
.

I was in a meeting with the board of directors, we were discussing the strategies to compensate for the deal which was called off because I cancelled my trip at the last moment, hence I couldn't sign the documents.

I began to get distracted and think about Aleeza, what should I do to make her trust me? How will she start believing in me?

I was so lost in my thoughts when I noticed everyone was looking at me, I raised my eyebrows in confusion

I got to know I was asked about something, and now I was supposed to answer their question, leaving all the thoughts behind then I just concentrated on the discussion.

After the meeting one by one people were leaving the conference room, my thoughts again shifted to the woman of my life.

"Sir, are you ok?" One of my employees asked. I looked around and found that everyone left, it was just me in the room.

I looked at him, he was looking at me with hundreds of questions on his face

"Yeah" I nodded, i thought of asking him, so I spoke, "are you married?" He looked taken aback

"Umm yes i am, sir" he nodded, I smiled widely

"Have a seat" I pointed at the chair near me, he hesitantly sat on it

"What can I do to make Aleeza understand that she is different from the rest?" I asked in one breath

"Huh?" He frowned

"I mean, what do you do to make your wife happy?"

"Oh! happy?"

"Yeah"

Once he realised that I was really in need of his advice, he relaxed. He leaned back on the chair and spread his legs

"Girls really like gifts, treat them with expensive jewellery, surprise them with flowers and good food. Take them out for shopping, and movies, just spend money on them" he said raising his collar

I was happy to finally have some answer to my question, with a big smile on my face, I thought about his words.

I will go straight from the office and buy some diamond jewellery for her, she will feel happy, but she doesn't like jewellery, if I buy for her she will hate me more for giving her something she dislikes

One by one, I rationalised all the options he gave to me, and I realised that Aleeza is very different from the other girls, she doesn't like materialistic things.

I felt angry at the guy for giving me stupid ideas, I narrowed my eyes at him

"Don't you have any work to do?" I shouted, suddenly his smile vanished and he sat straight. "Is this what I pay you for? Get to work, right now" I ordered and left from there
