I watch as she fades into the distance.

I weakly crawl towards the empty aquarium. My true feelings and emotions. Nothing. Empty.

I stare at the surface of the water, looking at my reflection. The music from the music box reaches its chorus, I dunk my head in. The water tastes bitter in my mouth and causes a tingling sensation at the back of my nose. The strange feeling of water filling my lungs... It's strangely... calming? To be honest, I'm not sure what the feeling even is, not positive nor negative. For what feels like — and is — the last time, I smile. My vision fades to black and Kanade's song reduces to nothing but an unrecognisable ringing in my ears.
