B.1/Ch.7- Spying

NARRATOR'S POV

April and Casey left to go home since it is almost six in the afternoon. Everyone grabs the cleaning supplies. The girls and Eric go and choose one of the six rooms that are allowed to be bedrooms.

"I call this one!" Mercury yells.

"I got mine!" Sapphire yells from her room.

"Mine too!" Diamond says as she goes in a room.

"I got mine, but Donnie I think I need help with this." Eric says as he is at a room with Donnie's experiments.

"Okay." Donnie says as he goes and grabs boxes to put the experiments in.

"Mer, you're going to need help with this. Of course, you pick the worst room." Sapphire says as she looks at the room Mercury picked.

"I'll help her my room isn't that bad." Lapis says as she looks in the room with the others.

"I'll help Mer Bear" Mikey says while smiling at Mercury.

Mercury blushes and everyone looks over at Mercury and Mikey.

"Did he just-" Raph starts only to get cut off my Leo.

"I'll clean your room, Lapis." Leo says.

Everyone looks over at Leo and smiles. Lapis smiles at Leo. Leo rubs the back of his neck with a shy look.

"I'll help Leo." Ruby says making Raph look over at her confused.

"Okay so I have my room. Mikey, Lapis, and Mercury have Mer's room. Eric and Donnie have Eric's room. Ruby and Leo have Lapis' room. Diamond has her room. Is that right?" Sapphire says.

Everyone nods.

"You can go do whatever, unless you want to help one of the others Raph." Leo says as he looks over at Raph.

Raph shrugs and walks into the living room to start cleaning his sais. Everyone goes into the rooms to clean them.

RUBY'S POV

I help Leo clean up a room that is supposed to be Lapis' room. While we are cleaning, we talk more in detail about our past (the girls, Eric, and I).

"So how did you become leader?" Leo asks me as he picks up trash in the corner by the door.

"Umm... you would have to ask the girls and Eric that. I don't know why they picked me to be leader." I answer as I sweep the floor.

"You don't know why you are their leader?" Leo asks after getting rid of the trash.

"No, they never told me why. One day after we escaped a few years ago, I think the girls and I were ten years old making Eric twenty, they all said I was their leader, and they would listen to me until the end." I say as I stop sweeping to think about it.

"Even Eric listens to you?" Leo asks in an amused tone.

"Kind of, he is my older brother, but he still listens to me about a lot of things." I explain as I finish sweeping.

Leo looks over at me as I get the sweeping pan and clean up all the dirt.

"What else do you want to know mister leader?" I ask as I look back over at him.

SAPPHIRE'S POV

I am cleaning my room by myself since it isn't a big mess. I finally finish cleaning the room and decide to go and see if anyone else needs help. I walk out of the room and go to Mercury's room and see Lapis, Mercury, and Mikey cleaning it up. Raph was cleaning his sais in the living room. Diamond was finishing her room which just needed to be swept and mopped. Eric and Donnie cleaned his room which just was filled with old experiments of Donnie's.
