Thomas Rico has been in the mobile infantry for three years now. What will he think when he hears his little brother Johnny has decided to follow in his footsteps much to their parent's dismay.
Waling with their friends. Johnny takes Carmen's hand in his own.
Carmen: "C'mon let's see if they've posted the math final yet."
Student: "Hey Rico we gonna take Tesla."
Johnny: "How should I know."
Student: "You're captain of the team! Your brother used to beat them every year."
The couple joins the other students around a multi-screen kiosk.
Carmen: "First thing Fleet Academy looks at is your math scores. Wish me Luck!"
She enters her name to find her score to be 97%. Johnny sees her face beam with happiness, but he can't help but be worried about his own.
Johnny: "Good for you."
Carmen: "Your turn..."
She then spots Carl across the way talking with Marco.
Carmen: "Hold on... I wanna talk to Marco. His sisters at fleet.!"
Carmen rushes off. Johnny checks his score. A 35%. He was crushed, he makes sure no one else has seen. Carl walks up to him.

Carl: "You still haven't kissed her yet? Don't lie."
Johnny: "What's the hurry?"
Carl: "Others are waiting."
Carl points out Dizzy, talking with friends.
Johnny: " I guess you didn't read her mind. Diz has always had a thing for my brother. Following him around when he was a senior and we were freshman."
Carl: "You hear anything from him lately."
Johnny: "No not in a while."
Carmen returns to Johnnys side as Carl heads off.
Carl: "Don't forget about this afternoon. Hes always late when he walks you home to fish for a kiss."
Carmen: "Shes flying Starships!"
Johnny: "Who?"
Carmen: "Marco's sister. Can you imagine maneuvering half a million tons through crowded space lanes... You gotta have nerves of steel! Reflexes are critical."
