as though like a faraway star,
like a very distant dream,
you were always there in my mind.
i saw you as something unreal,
ethereal and a lot like an angel.
someone so perfect,
like a hypnotising illusion.
even this moment feels unreal,
where you're with me by my side.
i feel as if i'm on top of the world,
having achieved all my dreams.
