There was a film of smoke that floated through the entire house as more and more people continued to show up. I pushed my way through the growing crowd of people with my own 5th of Bacardi in hand. Gerard had given it to me five minutes after we got to his house. I hadn't seen him in more than an hour and a half and half of my bottle was already gone.
I smiled as I saw a familiar afro it the distance. "Ray!!"
He smiled up at me dumbly from his position on the couch, yelling over the loud music. "What's up, Lenny?!"
"Have you seen any of the guys anywhere?" I got close to him so I wouldn't have to be so loud, my knees wobbling slightly.
"Yeah," He pointed toward the kitchen as he spoke. "Bob's out back smoking a cig, I think Mikey is past out already, Gerard went to his room with a girl not too long ago..." He paused to wriggle his eyebrows at me and I laughed a lot harder then I should have. "And Frankie is some where on the dance floor."
I gave him a half smile. "I'm gonna find Frank."
He chuckled and took another gulp of his drink. "Of course you are." He did the eyebrow thing once again.
I laughed, realizing I was a bit more drunk than I expected to be, but not really caring about his comment. I followed the sound of the music until I found the mob of people dancing in the middle of the living room floor. I had been in this house so many times since I've moved here and right now it looked nothing like I remembered it to be. I scanned my hazy eyes over the crowd twice before I saw exactly who I was looking for near the middle of the group. I took another gulp and a half of my bottle and hid it behind a chair for safekeeping. I walked toward him and his face lit up when he saw me coming his way, his body moving toward mine.
"Heeey!" He was way even more drunk than I was, his cheeks flushed from dancing.
"Hiii Frankie." I smiled back at him, batting my eyelashes.
"You better be in here to dance with me." He eyed what I was wearing and smiled down at me, excitement in his eyes.
"Why else would I be here?"
Instantly he grabbed my hand and led me back out into the group of sweaty, drunk teenagers. Our bodies pushed against each other's as soon as we made it near the center. Frank's hands gently moved down my sides, over my hips and around to my back as mine moved over his chest and shoulders and then lay drunkenly around the back of his neck. I could feel his hot breath against my neck, causing goosebumps to rise over my skin, as I let him pull me closer.
Our hips grinded together nicely, our faces mere inches apart. "You wanna get out of here?"
I nodded as we swayed for a moment longer and then he pulled me from the crowd and toward the kitchen. As we made our way through the people, we ran into Bob, who looked pretty sober. He must have been chosen to be the DHS (designated house sitter). I would have felt bad for him, but my drunken state pushed the thought to the back of my mind.
"Hey you two." He stopped us.
Frank and I both smiled as Frank's fingers intertwined with mine. "Hey Bobby boy!"
"Where are you going?"
"We're gonna go out back and have a smoke, cool down a little," Frank said in a serious voice that sounded more sober than he actually was.
"Okay, be careful, alright?" Bob look serious too.
I patted his arm lightly, trying to sound as not drunk as possible, but failed miserably. "We sure will."
With that Frank pulled me from our spot in the kitchen, out the back door and into the cool night air. He pulled out two cigarettes and put them in his mouth, lighting both of them before he handed one to me. I smiled with thanks. We stood there in the silence not even trying to have a conversation; we both knew how drunk the other was, there was no need to say it out loud.
"Cold?"
I glanced over at him, not realizing until now the goosebumps that had formed on my skin. "A little."
He came up behind me and pushed his chest against my back, wrapping his arms around my waist; every so often he'd pull one arm away to take another drag of his cigarette. He rested his head on my shoulder and I could feel his hot breath on my neck once again. It was driving me crazy. He arms tightened around my waist as I ran my left hand down one of his bare arms.
"You look incredibly gorgeous tonight," He whispered suddenly in my ear, catching me off guard.
I turned around to face him, my drunkenness and true feelings taking over. "You look gorgeous all the time." I traced my index finger down the front of his thin shirt and glancing up at him flirtatiously.
This wasn't how I normally acted. There was just something about him that drove me to these lengths and I just couldn't help myself around him. Also the fact that I was drunk really help in the confidence department. He opened and closed his mouth a few times before he grabbed my face in his hands and crashed his lips against mine. I immediately wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled his body against mine.
"Frank," I moaned as his kisses moved down my neck.
He pulled away and grabbed my hand, pulling me back into the house. He led me through the crowds, stopping every so often to turn around and kiss me as we headed toward the stairs. The knots in my stomach tightened with every second that passed with the anticipation of what we both knew was going to happen next. We passed a few people, one of them being Gerard, who gave us one look and laughed. I think he was too drunk to understand what was about to happen or maybe he did understand, I really couldn't have cared less at that point. All I wanted was Frank.
It took less than a minute to get up the stairs and into the guest bedroom down the hall. I felt my body tense up as he laid himself down on top of me, but relaxed as his hands traveled up and down my sides in a reassuring manner. His lips touched my warm skin, sending electricity through my body; I couldn't stand it anymore. I pushed him over and climbed on top of him, his facial expression was surprised at first, but changed as I kissed his neck lightly. He groaned, his hands running up my legs. I pulled at his shirt and it came off with ease, mine coming off seconds later.
We wrestled for the top as the rest of our clothes fell from our bodies and Frank push himself against me. We moaned and gasped as our bodies moved together in pure pleasure and bliss. The bad feeling that tugged at my heartstrings was pushed away as we continued into the night.
