"Does that mean you're leaving?" Frank asked quietly into the phone, his voice obviously shaky.
"Actually, I'm not. My mom is keeping our house and told me that I can stay with her if I want."
"Are you going to stay here?" He sounded nervous.
"Why would I ever want to leave?"
He sighed deeply. "Good. You had me worried for a minute."
I laughed into the receiver. "I would never leave you, Frank."
It was quiet for a second. "I would never leave you either."
I smiled and blushed even though he couldn't see me. I laid back on my bed, looking up at the ceiling and sighed contently.
"Frank, what are you doing right now?"
"Sitting outside."
"Where?"
"My house."
"I'll be out in a minute." I hung up the phone without him answering.
I headed down the stairs and out the front door, my sweatshirt already on. I pranced over to Frank and sat down next to him on his front porch. He was bundled up in a big coat and gloves.
"Are you dumb?"
I looked over at him absentmindedly. "Huh?"
"You're going to catch a cold!"
I rolled my eyes. "No, I'm not."
"Come here." He grabbed me, pulling me into him.
The warmth of his body sent shivers up and down my spine as I cuddled in closer to his side. We sat there for a while in silence. I had nothing to say to him; I just wanted to be near him.

"So we're leaving for tour in a week..." I looked up at Gerard with a glare as we once again found ourselves outside our mausoleum.
"Thanks for reminding me, asshole." I leaned back against the rot iron door.
"Well I'm telling you this because we have a surprise for you."
My ears perked and I sat up again, leaning toward him. "What kind of surprise?"
He smirked at me. "Now that, my dear, you're going to have to wait to find out." He waved his finger in my face.
"That's not cool," I huffed and folded my arms over my chest.
Gerard just laughed at me, dipping his head back down to inspect the sketch he had just finished. I turned the volume up on my headphones and closed my eyes as the sun warmed my body even with the cold air that blew around us. I had to remember to sit still since I was in Gerard's sketch. What kind of surprise had to do with them leaving for tour?
