7.Trouble

You were near Sumeru city but you didn't dare to enter just yet. Without your Akasha terminal as soon as you entered through main gate they would give you one and see who you are. So that wasn't an option.

You waited until it was night time. You climbed over one of walls and quietly sneaked around the area.

'STOP!' You heard nightmare yell.

'What's wrong?!'

'We need to find Nahida first.'

'Who's that?'

'Lesser lord Kusanali'

'You came to part of city that was reserved for healing patients. You then saw a faint shiluette of a little girl watching over something.

You came closer to her, and as she noticed you, she had happy and shocked look on her face.

"Y/n? What are you doing here, and how can you see me..?"

"I had a feeling traveler's in trouble, and probably because I dond have my Akasha terminal"

"I see, listen, Academiya made everyone repeat same day ina dream. Traveler is trying to stop them, but he needs a help to realise it's dream again."

This made me really shocked but knowing what Academiya already did, it wasn't impossible.

I set to find traveler, I knew that as long as I blend in as much as possible nobody will notice.

I soon found him talking to Paimon and rushed to his side.

"Traveler!"

He looked at me with shocked expression "Y/n!? what's happening, why are you here!?"

"We need to get you to Nahida quick!"

"Nahida...? Name's familiar..."

"I know she'll explain everything, we have to go now..."

"Hey you! You're Y/n! Catch her!" A guard noticed us, thus isn't good...

"Ok Aether, listen. She's in infirmari, you need to follow this street and then turn left and after 30 steps right, you'll see little white hair girl, I have to go now."

With that I ran the other way, whil guards started to chatch up on me. It would be easier to hide among actors. So I ran to where secret Subzeruts festival was suposed to happen.

Luckily I lost the guards, but got myself into more trouble. Why am I so reckless.

Grand sage was there, he was talking with Nilou and unfortunately he noticed me.

I got caught and now they were draging me somewhere. I could give Nightmare a chance to fight them, but that could just maje situation worse.

They lead me to creepy room and cheined me, then put some weird hat on me.

"Huh, so she's a god... Interesting."

Oh no what do they mean!? What did this thing do?

'Listen, I know this sounds terrible, but try to observe more of what they're doing, call Xiao on my signal ok?'

She didn't want to fight them now..? I guess she has a plan..

Soon I saw Nahidas body in some big buble.

"That? She's too weak to be an archon, she's useless, we'll create a new, strong Archon , like our Greater Lord Rukkadevatah. And you and that child will help us."

They put strange tubes into my arms and legs, as I felt my energy falling down.

I could barely keep my eyes open. Nahidas eyes were closed, I know why, she protected herself by going into other peoples minds. Unfortunately I don't posses such powers, and I can't let them get to Nightmare.

'CALL XIAO NOW!'

Finnaly, the words I've been waiting for. "XIAO! PLEASE I NEED HELP!"

"Sorry little god, but nobody can hear you here-"

"Stay.Away.From.Her." A dark and scary voice was heard from behind them.

Sages had a terrified look as they slowly turned to face Xiao. His eyes showed no emotion other than anger.

One swift move of hus polearm and all sages were down, uncouncious. He ran to me, I felt too weak to say something.

He removed all the tubes from me, and held me up. I leaned on him as he huged me protectively.

"You.. came.."

"You called, did you not?"

"Wee need to save Nahida-.. No, Traveler will help her, we can't stay here longer."

Moon interupted me, Xiao noded and teleported back to Wangshu Inn. He layed me down on my bed.

I could see something was bothering him."What's wrong?"

"If I were to some 2 seconds latter.. you could be dead... That was too reckless even for you! I care to much about you to let that happen ypu know!" Tears started falling down his eyes.

"Xiao..."

"I LOVE YOU FOR ARCHONS SAKE! DON'T YOU DARE DO THAT TO ME AGAIN OK!?"

He, loved me... Those words were meant to be harsh, but they melted my heart as I smiled.

"I love you too... And I promise, I won't be so careless next time.."

"Good." when he said that he layed on top of me and leaned closer to my face.

"Because, from now on.. You'll be mine." After that he kissed me gently. I kissed back and heard Nightmare cheering in my head.
