Different Worlds

"Well! Did you?" Beatrix asked again smirking

Stella grabbed the girl and hugged her tight.

"I'll take that as a yes" Beatrix replied, hugging her back.

Stella POV:

"You have no idea" I said

"You can let go now" she said

A part of me didn't want to, it felt like if I did I was going to lose her again but with reluctance I did.

"How are you?" I asked

"I'm fine!" She replied

But I knew she was lying, how could she after what happened?

"It's me you're talking to, don't lie to me" I said

"I died Stella, then came back to life. It's all a lot to process"

"May I ask, how was it, being dead?"

"Honestly, it's all a blur. One time I was alive then emptiness and then here again"

I held her hand and squeezed, it was the most I could do to not try and make it awkward

"When since you started being this softy?" She joked

"I guess you dying made me realize I shouldn't take moments for granted"

"I met your sisters" I told her

"You did? What was that like?" She asked

"Well they're both a bit bitchy, I get how you're related" I said jokingly watching her roll her eyes

"I told them about you, I felt like I owed it to you to let them know you existed"

"Thank you!" she said

"Now you can get to know them. So you can have someone like you've always wanted"

"Do I still no longer have you?" She asked

My heart pounded faster after hearing her question. Remembering the moment I said she had me.

"You have me" I replied smiling

It had been two days since Beatrix and I's interaction in the graveyard.

She had left to go meet her sisters. I hadn't heard from her since. Not from the lack of trying on my part. I texted and called but got no response.

"You know staring at your phone won't just magically make her text you" Flora said coming from behind me.

"It's been two days since she's been gone, I just can't help but wonder if she's okay" I said

"Who would have known you'd be this whipped"

"I'm not! I'm a concerned friend"

"You keep telling yourself that"

"What you guys talking about?" Terra asked entering the dorm

"Nothing!" I replied

The last thing I wanted right now was for the girls to know about my feelings especially since I'm not fully sure what's going on myself.

Beatrix was enjoying being around her sisters. They were hesitant at first since they heard she was supposed to be dead but after they gave her an open arm.

She got to know them and they got to know her. It felt like they knew each other for years.

This was all she ever wanted, family! But she felt like there was still something missing. She just wasn't sure what.

She was so engulfed in getting to know her sisters that she never paid any attention to her phone.

Finally checking, she saw all the messages and calls from Stella. She smiled thinking of the light fairy.

"Who are you texting?" Darcy asked over her shoulders.

"A friend" Beatrix smiled

"Some friend have you smiling like that?" Darcy asked

She grabbed Beatrix's phone to see the messages.

"You're texting the Princess" Darcy uttered, scrolling through the texts

"Well if I didn't know better I'd say you were more than texting her" Darcy teased

"What are you talking about?" Beatrix asked trying to grab her phone back

"Are you two sleeping together?" Darcy asked

"What? No! She's just a friend" Beatrix uttered

"Well, this girl likes you!" Darcy responded

"I highly doubt that" Beatrix said disregarding her sister's comment

"Nobody texts like this to just a friend, the sooner you realize that the better" Darcy replied, handing Beatrix her phone

"The sooner you can shut it down" Icy said getting involved in the conversation

"Why?" Beatrix asked confused

"She's the Princess of Solaria, your worlds couldn't be any more different. Besides, do you really think her mother would allow her to date a woman" Icy said

Beatrix stayed quiet. She wasn't saying anything was going on between her and Stella but Icy was making good points about their world being different

Maybe her sister was right.
