"Hey babe!" I said as I walked into the apartment with Cassie 

"Where have you been I've been calling and texting you!" He came round the corner in a black t-shirt wearing black jeans and came up to me all worried in a fit but calmed down when he saw Cassie

"Relax you remember Cassie right? My best friend?" I said swinging my arm around her.

"Oh yeah, of course I remember her" he said

"Well we got to talking and went to a shooting range even!" I exclaimed

"Oh yeah? You any good?" He asked

"She was literally a master, but I was shit" She laughed

"Anyways she's staying in the guest room okay, bye!" I walked off with her still under my arm as I dragged her to the guest room

"No, Maya I can't, i don't wanna intrude" Cassie said politely

"No its fine! And besides, its been forever since we had a sleepover. Cmon, lets go get some pjs' for you"  We got dressed into our matching pink silk pjs and our hair in messy buns. We were sat on the sofa watching a film with popcorn and a bottle of rosé to share between us, when I saw Rio about to leave the house

"Hey, you okay?" I asked looking up at him while Cassie was asleep next to me

"Yeah, I uh got some work to take care off" he said. I got up and walked over to him and put my arms around his neck

"Okay well be safe"" I said as I kissed him

"Don't worry about me" he said before grabbing my waist and pulling me closer and hugged me tight

"Okay I've gotta get back to her. And thanks for reaching out to her" i said

"No problem, just thought you could use your best friend to cheer you up when I can't" he said

"Thank you" I whispered then kissed him on the cheek then he left closing the door behind him

The next morning. I woke up and Cassie was still asleep next to me, I checked my phone and found a message from Rio

"Hey needed to drop off something I'll be back later"

"Hey Cass' wake up!" I said lightly shaking her awake. She groaned as she stretched

"Oh my god, my head is killing me!" She groaned

"Yeah considering we got drunk" I said getting her some aspirin

"Where's Rio then?" She asked trying go pull herself together

"He's at the probably at the warehouse doing business" I gave her the water and aspirin and she took it immediately. She yawned and looked at her phone and freaked out

"Oh shit! Maya! I've gotta go! Im late for a meeting!" She said rushing getting her things

"Okay! Go! Go! Ill talk to you later yeah!" I said as she shut the door. And there I was alone, again. I decided to call Rio and ask where he was

"Hey, where are you?" I called him to find out where he was

"Im at work why?" He answered

"Well im at home and I was wondering if I could come and meet you?" I asked

"Um, okay don't get mad" he sighed

"What did you do?! Kill somebody!" I exclaimed

"I went to Beth's house as she wanted to talk to me about another job" he explained
