I'm NOT Fine
How many times
Have they asked if I'm fine
And every time
I replied perfectly fine
Even when I wasn't
They don't really want to know
Know I'm not fine
Know I'm bellow the surface
They do not want to hear
I'M NOT FINE
They expect me to sweep
it under a rug
I'm burning
And they want me to burn
my feelings away
But it would burn me to
ash as well
So when I say I'm fine
Just know
That for your own comfort
I may have lied
