Chapter 6

Okay so this chapter will reveal Naira's story...it might be boring for some...but necessary for the story

Naira gets up at 11 as she was hungry so she gets up and goes to make breakfast for herself.
She knows the hero won't be up until 12 so she keeps his breakfast in the microwave.

She had her breakfast...now she was getting bored..so she thought lets irritate our heroo.

She went to his room to wake him up with jug of water...but before pouring the water...his phone beeped with a message

She didn't want to read the message but since it was just in front of her she couldn't help but see it and as soon as she saw...she kept the jug on side table and left the room.

A lot was going on in her head...

Without thinking much she left the flat and started walking towards the beach.

The weather was dull and gusty
It was gonna rain as the sky was full of black clouds..but she didn't mind as she loved rain

She reached the beach which was deserted.A lone tear escaped from her eye...thinking why does this happens with her only...the moment she thinks things will get better..they take turn towards worse

***Flashback begins***

Lets go 12 years back

Naira was one of the topper of her class but she was not a nerd...rather she was the DON of her class (as the other students use to call her). She mingled with everyone be it a boy or a girl...she was not that pretty but had a lot of self confidence..she was first in everything...be it studies...be it sports ..be it competitions...even fights and pranks...but she was veryy innocent too...always there for everyone...very helpful( okay enough of her praise)

But if person is this good...there has to be people who were jealous of this...she never knew about them as she always minded her business unless anyone provokes her.

Naira had a group of almost 10 people (9 boys and only one girl..kartik is not one of them as he joined later)who were her best friends ( bachpan wale) as they were together since childhood...having food together in recess to celebrating birthdays at each other home..they all did everything together..even pranking their teachers.

Everything was normal till 10th grade but one day she is chosen to represent their school in a fest with kartik and two other seniors also. During the preparations for it they became really good friends as spending whole day with each other does brings you close..but they didn't know it yet...

They performed well in the state round and now it was time was national level for which they have to go outside their city for 3 days which was during the last days of their 10th so they had to prepare for their board exams as well as the fest...after alot of preparations they went for the fest where they did well and but more than that they enjoyed alot..kartik pranked her alot...she was very happy even after being pranked...had it been someone else she would have made his chutney...but even she didn't know why she was happy ..so the fest came to an end and the next day was their last day of 10th grade...as boards take place in separate school..and it went awesome

The boards were beginning from next week. The weird thing was noone talked to her during the boards....she thought maybe because of the exam pressure...even on the last day they just said bye...she didn't know what was happening so...she forgot it in a day or two and enjoyed her vacation.

Now it was the first day for their 11th grade...she chose commerce stream as she wanted to be a CA..2-3 other classmates also chose commerce... few of them chose non -med including kartik...few chose arts including one of her only girl best friend...and rest left the school.

She was really excited for her day as she would be meeting everyone and specially kartikk..(yesss she realised she has a crush on himm but she also knows that kartik is already in relationship with vedika...she knows this from the beginning but you cant really control your feelings right ..and she is not a villian who will plan and plot and win kartikk..so she was okay in just being his friend and just seeing him daily) but what happened was exactly opposite of what she expected....none them talked with each other...even the friends (ex-friends) in her class behaved like strangers...doosri stream walo ki to baat hi kya thi...and let me remind you they all were friends for more than 10 years...what happened suddenly that they all are behaving like that...memory loss hui h kya sbki...and its not that she didn't try to talk but it was as if they didn't want to altogether..she was heartbroken not only beacuse of kartik but because of all of them...she didn't imagine that it could happen to her ..the friends who were her best friends once could do this..(It might be a small thing for some but losing a best friend is more painful than a breakup)she lost not one but all of them...this affected her so much that she lost trust on friendship...it changed her...she made friends but never a best friend...she was no more an extroverted person...it was as if she created a wall outside her...days passed by...she used to see all of them because sometime or the other you get face to face...but they behaved as if they are strangers.

After school Naira made few friends who there for her and ofcourse she was always there for them during her journey of CA... she was the person to whom they come whenever they have for problem...2 of them were very close to her..their name was Rohan and Gayu...but she also knew ki if they had to choose among her and the other person..they would never choose her...and she sometimes felt like she is a thirdwheel and intentionally or unintentionally...she didn't know but she was made to feel like that.

That is why she left Udaipur and everyone over there to begin her life in Mumbai...she got a job..and after 1 year she decided to do her masters in Australia.

***Flashback over***

During this whole time she didn't have a single person who would choose her beyond everyone except her family... ofcourse but she didn't show them once what she felt as it would make them worry for her...from the beginning her parents have made her very strong... independent...and she stayed that infront of her parents but then strong people also need someone...it not necessarily has to be a romantic relationship...but a best friend with whom you can share anything and everything is a must.

Naira was sitting on the beach with eyes full of tears when rain started pouring as if the sky was also crying with her.

In the morning when she went to kartik's room she saw the message of Vansh...

V: Kartik yr vedika bhut ro rahi hai...sorry bhi bolri hai..usse baat karle na ek baar...vo Australia aane ke liye bhi ready hai..ek baar baat krle..just for me

N: When i met kartik in Australia... everything was so sudden...from our meeting to sharing an apartment...i thought maybe i will get my friend back...but if vedika comes here back...i will have to leave...i will be all alone again...aya hi kyu agr yahi karna tha to and she cries...

After 15 mins of sobbing she gets up and goes back to the apartment where kartik is waiting for her...
