Chapter 9

The next week begins

All 8 of them were excited for the college as from today they were going to do practical assignments

But before all that there was a new admission in their class...it was not a new admission but sort of a late joinee...and its a boy...who is also Indian... His name is Ruhaan...(you can imagine Mishkat Verma...or kunal jai singh or anyone else if you dont like any of them)(he is positive character)

The assignment begins and its a team based assignment...so students are divided in groups of four...but unfortunately all of them are in separate groups...but the interesting thing is that Naira and Ruhaan are in same group with 2 other students...

Ruhaan: Hi I am Ruhaan

N: Hi..I am Naira

R: You are from India?

N: Yes

R: Oh great ..finally someone's there whom i can talk... actually i am very shy...specially when i have to talk to foreigners...but we are from same country so we can talk...so Friends???(extending his hand)

N: Suree(handshaking)

R: So now since we are friends...you can call me Ruh

N: Okay

Well all this was seen by a pair of eyes who were not at all happy....rather he was burninggg😂...and that was none other than our herooo

While Naira and Ruhaan were laughing over a lame joke cracked by ruhaan

K(in mind) : Itni kitni dosti hogyi...itna khilkhila ke hass rahi hai...mujhe to bs attitude deti rehti hai jab dekho...huhhh

Meanwhile the session got over...their next session was in a separate classroom... normally they all used to go together but today one person was missing coz he went earlier...as he was not able to see the "friendship"

Naira was a little surprised kartik never went leaving her behind..she thought to talk later to him

In all  classes kaira used to sit together but today naira saw kartik already sitting with joey...she felt a little sad and she went to sit alone ...just then ruhaan came and he sat beside her..seeing her sad...he asked if she is ok...

N: Yeah i am ok

Kartik was again fuming but this time it was his fault...

After the college was over...Naira without talking to anyone left for her office and now kartik was shocked as she never leaves without telling him

At night around 8 pm Naira reached the apartment where kartik was waiting for her...as he reached an hour before..and as soon as she entered

K: Naira...why didn't you inform me before leaving for the office?

N: Excuse me.....do i have to take your permission for going

K: Maine permission kb bola...maine sirf inform krne ka poocha

N: Hn to hr cheez tumhe bata kr to nai karungi na

K: Kisi se ladd ke aai ho kya....jiska sara gussa mujhpe utar rahi ho

N: Main kyu ladd ke aaungi

K: Tum aise bina bataye nikal gayi...pta main kitna pareshaan ho gaya tha

N: Bina bataye to tum bhi chale gye the na class se...tb nahi yaad aai meri

K: To tum bhi to busy thi apne naye best friend ke saath

N: Vo sirf mera friend hai....best friend to tum ho na (realised what she said)

K: Main tumhara best friend hu?

N: Nahi i mean...hn...i dont know

K: Ya to hu...ya to nahi ....i dont know kya hota hai

N: You know what tum nai ho mere best friend...kyunki tum mujhe akela chorrke chle gaye....aur akela baithne k liye bhi chorr dia

K: Baitha to tha tumhara friend tumhare saath

Naira glared at him and gave a whatever look.Kartik and Naira had their dinner in their rooms only and slept after that.

2 weeks had gone like this...kartik jealous of ruhaan and naira tired of his childish behaviour ..which had caused a rift between them...she was still tolerating but what happened next was very unexpected....

Kartik and Dev were sitting in the cafeteria waiting for their order.

Kartik had ordered cold drink...so as soon as he took a sip...he choked....as it was chilli sauce....he was coughing very badly...and just then Naira and ruhaan came there

N: Kartik what happened?

K: ( not able to speak)...Chi...lliie....in....dri...nk

N: What?..but how?

K:(not thinking anything else) Ask you friend...he must have done something

N: Kartik he was with me all the time...

K: To you both must have planned together

N: Are you serious....you know i won't do this...it's dangerous

K: I am sure it is done by him only

N: Kartik i just told you he didn't...we just came now

K: Naira you trust him more than me...i am telling you...he did it...

N: It's not about trust...and why would he do that

K: Coz he doesn't like me...as i am your best friend..and see...he didn't say a word to defend himself

R: Kartik bro... seriously i didn't do it...i was with Naira

K: oh please

N: Kartik enough....you are blaming him unnecessarily...he didn't do it (roaring like sherni)

K: Naira you are shouting at me ..for him.... seriously...is he more important than me

N: It's not about being important but it's about being right...

Dev: Guys stop it....kartik when she is saying he was with naira then he must be with her na

K: No dev bhai...i know...they are lying...and if it was not him...then who did it...tell me

N: Kartik you are overreacting...someone must have played a prank on you..like you also keep doing on others

K: I do harmless pranks...not like the one which can take someone's life( glaring at Ruhaan)

N: Kartik....stop glaring at him...i am telling you ..he didn't do it.... dont you trust me?

K: you know what No...i dont....

Naira shocked.......
