KAYLOR: ENCHANTED TO MEET YOU

CHAPTER 9

KARLIE

'This day was way too exhausting, but finally school's out' I thought to myself. Luckily I could avoid Taylor the whole day in school even though my mind was full of her. I went to my locker when someone appeared behind me.

"Hey Karlie, can I talk to you?" I turned around and saw Taylor standing in front of me with a nervous look on her face but before I could even answer another person showed up.

"Hey Ms. Swift, Hey Karlie. I just wanted to check if tonight's still on?" Toni asked me with a big smile on her face when she grabbed my hand and started to play with my fingers. Taylor watched her while she seemed pretty jealous but tried to hide it, what kind of amused me.

"Sure" I said and mirrored Toni's smile just to provoke Taylor.

"Okay then I'm gonna pick you up at around 7PM. See you then babe" She said and I leaned in to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek very near to her lips. That caused Toni to blush and Taylor to turn her face away, clearly not wanting to watch Toni and me flirting in front of her.

"Can't wait" I said and she walked away still blushing and smiling even wider now. "So, what do you wanna talk?" I turned my attention back to Taylor.

"I just..what..what's going on between you guys?" Taylor spluttered.

"I think that's so not your business. Anyway, have a great day Ms.Swift." I said in a plain voice but I couldn't hold myself back to emphasize the Ms.Swift. I quickly turned around and made my way towards my car leaving her standing there.

The whole day just went on as usual with me laying in my bed, listenting to music and texting with friends that tried to squeeze me out about what I'm going to do with Toni on our date. When Toni arrived at my house we drove to the concert and enjoyed ourselves there. We flirted with each other all the time but I couldn't forget Taylor for one second. She was always on my mind.

The concert was now over and Toni and I were back in her car.

"So, you want me to drive you home or..?" Toni asked me nerously.

"Or?" I asked.

"Or you could come with me to my house. My parents are on vacation at the moment so we have to whole house for us" She asked and blushed.

"I'll go with option two" I smiled and put my hand on her leg what brought her to blush even more. When we arrived at her house, we decided to watch a movie and sat on the couch with some snacks and also some wine. She put her arm around me which didn't bother me. I liked Toni a lot, she was a really good friend of mine but I just had feelings for someone else. During the movie Toni offered me to sleep over at hers what I accepted and texted my parents that I'm not coming home tonight. When the movie was over we were both tired but also a little bit drunk and decided to go to her bedroom to find some sleep. Toni gave me a shirt and short pants to borrow and we got under the blanket where Toni spooned me from behind. She then placed her hand on my hip and started to gently rub my skin there. She then started to kiss my shoulder and I turned around, now laying on my back, with her half over me. She looked at me and then leaned in and placed her lips onto mine. The kiss was nice but no sparkles or butterflies were in my stomach. No explosion in my body, just the feeling of lips on mine. I kissed her back and put my hand on her waist. I didn't even know why I kissed her back because I'm normally not the person who makes out with someone when there are no feelings involved but it was probably the alcohol that led me. We made out for some more time until we got back to cuddling and fell asleep with her spooning me again. Toni and I spent the whole Saturday together as well. We watched movies, listened to music and made out with each other. In my mind I hoped that this was the right way to make me forget about Taylor but every time I kissed Toni I saw Taylor in my mind. Every time she touched me I remembered the way Taylor touched me and this was just unhealthy what I totally knew by myself.

Monday was just another day in school like every one else. In the lunch break Toni and I sat with our friends in the cafeteria and we flirted a little bit with each other what caused my friends to smirk all the time. While Toni had her arm around me and her hand on my shoulder I saw Taylor showing up in the cafeteria and she looked at us from a distance with a shocked face. No one except me noticed, I think because she quickly turned around and left the cafeteria again. At the end of my day I went back to my locker and found a note in there.

We need to talk. Come to my apartment tonight.
