It's basically a magical shortcut, it let's me access different planes of existence without doing 20 hours of awkward incantations. She gave her hand for him to hold, Constantine took a moment before groaning and taking it now with both of them entering the mind of the man in a golden flash they vanished.

Zatanna and Constantine floated in a black void filled with doors to the victims memories but Zatanna was lost as if in a trance.
Constantine: Zee you okay ?
His question broke her out the trance " i'm fine " she replied rubbing her aching head as Constantine flew to one memory of when the man was a kid.
Zatanna: I've never liked this sort of magic. I can feel darkness seeping inside me.How you stand it is beyond me
She said hugging herself
