Scooby-Doo x Ben 10: Monsters Unleashed

Monster Chase

"Captain Cutler's GHOST!" Shaggy and Scooby's screams were heard from outside as everyone in the clubhouse had become alert as they were already found. "They found us. You'll have to finish that in the van when we get to the Monster Hive." Fred says, as everyone scrambles to get to the van with the control panel. "You hear him! Looks like we're finishing on the go, Velma!" Ben, still Greymatter, exclaims. "Let's move!" Kevin says.

"Rikes!" Scooby exclaims, as everyone gets into the van with Fred in the driver's seat. He starts the van but Captain Cutler pulls out his harpoon gun and fires, the two harpoons lodging into the back doors of the van, stopping before they could hit Scooby and Shaggy. Scooby gulping after the close call.

Captain Cutler starts pulling the chains attached to the harpoons, as he makes sure the group doesn't escape. "What do we do?!" Everyone asks in sync, frighten as to what will happen if they don't get away. "Fine. Let's. Go. Back!" Fred exclaims, shifting the van into reverse. "WHAT?!" Everyone shouts. "That's the wrong way!" Shaggy exclaims.

But Captain Cutler did not expect this and drops the chains in surprise as the van knocks him all the way to the other side of the lake, along with dislodging the harpoons from the back doors. "Nice driving." Kevin compliments, as Fred shifts into drive and they speed away.

Fred drives as fast as he can to get to the old mining town while Velma and Ben finish rewiring the control panel. "Shaggy! Give us a hand!" Velma exclaims, and Shaggy complies as Ben places his hand where it need to be to keep the panel still. "This is tied for the most terrifying day of my life!" Shaggy exclaims. "Which one?" Ben asks, rhetorically. "Every other freaking day of my life!" Shaggy replies, screaming, smacking his leg in frustration. Ben connects the final wire and Velma covers it, screwing it shut. "It's done!" She says.

Ben gets off the control panel and changes back to human as he looks out one of the van's windows. A familiar screech is heard as the Pterodactyl Ghost appears, chasing after the Mystery Machine. "Guys! Tweety's back!" Kevin exclaims, causing Shaggy to scream at the sight of the ghost. "Shaggy!" Fred exclaims. "Yeah!" Shaggy replies, still looking at the ghost. "I'm putting her in cruise. Take the wheel." Fred says. "Go!" He moves to the back of the van as Shaggy, though taken aback a bit, makes his way to the wheel.

While the two shuffle around the van, the Pterodactyl Ghost grabs the back of the van and lifts the rear up into the air. This caused the glass windows to, in the back doors, to shatter and knocks everyone over. The Pterodactyl Ghost then lets go of the van.

Shaggy grabs the steering wheel to drive the van smoothly as Fred kicks the doors open. "Take this!" Fred exclaims as he uses a flamethrower on the ghost. But the Pterodactyl Ghost grabs it with his talons and breaks it in half, stunning everyone. "Well, that went well." Kevin says, in a monotone voice.

"This is bad." Fred says. "No doubt." Shaggy says, joining the group. But this makes everyone look at him with confusion, "Shaggy?" Fred asks. "Yeah." Shaggy replies. "Who's driving?" Gwen asks, urgently. "Um...." Shaggy trails off. Everyone looks back to find Scooby being the closest to the wheel. "Rello." Scooby says, and waves with a smile as he sits in the front seat. "Scoob." Shaggy says. "What?" Scooby asks.

But before anyone could say anything, the Pterodactyl Ghost rips off the floor mat, causing everyone to shout in surprise. Ben rolls back and manages to stay in the van, but everyone else ends up remaining on the mat as it slides against the road, almost falling out of the van. They all hold onto each other and Ben quickly slams the Omnitrix and transforms into Snare-Oh and wraps his bindings around Kevin and Gwen's arms. Gwen, on Ben's left, tightens her grip on Ben's wrappings with her right hand as she uses her left hand to hold onto Velma and Velma holds onto Shaggy. On Ben's right, Kevin grips onto Ben's wrappings with his left hand as he holds onto Daphne with his right hand as she too holds onto Fred. Shaggy and Fred grab each other's hands as they and everyone tries to stay standing up.

Ben uses his wrappings to stay in the van as he tries to pull everyone back in. But then a loud horn was heard, "Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Ben hisses out. A large truck, driven by Zombie, was heading directly towards the Mystery Machine. "Scooby! Turn the wheel!" Velma exclaims. "Wheel?" Scooby questions as he moves into the driver's seat. "Scooby, turn the wheel!" Fred exclaims. "The round thing, Scoob!" Shaggy exclaims. But Scooby, having never driven before, looks at the wheel nervously and presses the horn, startling him.

"Scooby!" Gwen exclaims, starting to get scared with the truck getting closer, not being able to concentrate to use her powers. "Turn the wheel, Scooby!" Kevin shouts. The truck was getting closer and everyone kept yelling, trying to get Scooby to turn the wheel. "SCOOOBYYYYYY!" Everyone exclaims in sync. "Rokay." Scooby says, finally turning the wheel.

Scooby managed to turn just in time before the van could collide with the truck. "Rahooo-Oh. Bye-bye." Scooby cheers, raising his arms but then places them back on the wheel as he drives. However, the Pterodactyl Ghost was still chasing them. With one big tug, Ben was able to pull everyone into the van. Everyone screams as the ghost chases them and Scooby quickly turns the wheel, leading the Pterodactyl Ghost to crash into a billboard with a 'Derber Diaper' advertisement.

Everyone laughs at the ghost, finding its predicament to be funny. "Ra-hooo!" Scooby cheers, as he continues to drive. "You did it, Scoob!" Velma exclaims. "Fancy driving there, dog!" Kevin comments. "Way to go, pal!" Shaggy exclaims.
