Heya everyone! I am going through the toughest phase of my life. I don't want your comments. Just pray for me silently (even if that takes 10 seconds). Also, I was feeling to lazy to again incorporate all those 10 chapters and upload all of them together so I have written a poem chapter (crises mess with my brain to a whole new level) and now will upload all the chapters one by one. I hope you will like this one!

Author's POV

The air is mixed with the tears moist,
The shadow against the bonfire was hoist hoist,
While Aaryawati stared sadly at the sky,
Reflecting her fate, when and why?

She looked at the blinking stars
And wondered about the heartbreak and scars
That would accompany her if he leaves her
Her still sea life, would experience major stir

She was not scared of physical wounds,
Cas they were the ornaments of warrior,
She was not scared to face the army,
More the enemies, it would be merrier....

She was terrified to show her true face,
To her loving husband
She wondered how he figured her identity?
Why he was so hellbent to chase.

Can't he just leave her alone with her fake identity?
And let the warm glow of serenity?
Her lust and love had disturbed her mind's sanctity,
One mistake and she would regret for eternity!

Little did she know that her love was staring continuously,
He too had been sunk under the dilemma profusely?
As he stared her through the tiny creek of his den,
He wondered if she would come around? And when?

Why did she let her identity hide?
Why was she confused and unable to decide?
Her nonchalance said another story...
That had been cause of his insistent worry.

He decided that nothing could be beautiful
At present with moon and the stars,
Then why were two lovers, were loggerheads in the emotional war?

He decided to confront her like a sensible husband,
She deserved to explain and he deserved to rant...

He advanced from his tent,
She looked at him blankly...
He sat next to her,
The moments passed wordlessly...

He finally gathered the courage, and said

"I love you Aarya, and you know it's true.."
I know you lied, but I want to know your view.
Don't assume that I would  renounce my calm,
See, that's the marriage's charm...
We don't judge each other in our partnership
Because we have this unique friendship ."

She looked at him, with her eyes intense,
And he felt, his body getting more tensed..
Explosion was about to happen,
Whatsoever she says, he won't let his spirits dampen.

She removed her veil and declared....
"You say we hold a unique friendship
Then why did I need to lie to you?
You say we hold a unique friendship
Then why don't you understand my words so few?
You say we hold a unique friendship
Yet, you failed to understand my point of view?
You say we hold a unique friendship
And yet a lot of things are unsaid and due?

For you, a lady is meant to be preserved like a rare antique portrait,
For you, a lady's husband decides her fate,
For you, a lady's merits are decided by her in laws and mate,
For you, a lady speaking up leads to her marriage's end.
The society feeds false notions in mens' head.

Will you ever accept me if I say I am a trained spy?
Will you ever accept me if I say I always pretended to be shy?
Will you ever accept me if sitting idle or gossiping is what I despise?
Will you acknowledge that I am talented and wise?

I know how to fight,
I know how to stand up for right,
I am highly skill and educated,
I am a visionary, I see beyond mere sight."

He looked into her eyes,
Deep and pretty,
He never knew, his wife was
Brave and witty...

She looked breathtaking under the glow of fire,
Despite of the exhaustion and sleeplessness
Her eyes didn't look tired.

"My love,
just because you behaved submissive,
I was never dismissive
About your wishes and demands
Please be open to me,
If need to be,
I am ready to make amends.

I always respected you and tried to fulfil all your yearnings,
Despite wishing your happiness,
I never expected so many twists and turnings!"

He held her hand and looked into her eyes,
Dreaming silently of making her feel nice
And then kissing her senseless, under the cover of black and milky skies.......
