The Voices

The solacing whispers drown,
As his screeching aroused
The once deafening silence
Was now replaced by unendurable sounds.

The footsteps grew louder
And the heart was beating faster
Running down the unknown tunnel
Where the lights were fused and so were the souls.

Her legs ached and head throbbed
Even her tiny brain got tired
Her eyes stinging from tears undesired.
But the excruciating caterwauls were enough to keep her feet moving

Gasping for breathe she didn't stop still
Just wanting the voices to disappear
She did everything against her will.
Why? Why her?

Looking back she could see nothing but darkness,
That had now, engulfed her and herself
Dead upon her tracks
Down on her knees she dropped.

It hurt
Hurt to laugh. To smile. To breathe.
To exist.

The voices yelled at her, calling her names
'Not enough' they say.
The one of her mind? No, but the reflections of the other,
The one of her minds deadened long ago.

Numb. On the damp floor.
The tears had dried.
And so had her inaudible shouts
What didn't were the voices.

The day was over,
The smile did it's trick,
It was doing for months.
The only question that remained
Will the voices stop their hunt?

What's up lovely people?
How are y'all doing??
It's currently almost 11 pm and I have a class test tomorrow- which- I haven't studied a bit about.
