"Gideon!" I yelled running down the sidewalk.
Gideon turned and looked over his shoulder, only for me to jump onto his back and send us both to the ground.
"Agh! Get off me!" Gideon yelled elbowing me to try and get me off.
Once I was off of him he immediately stood up and dusted off his cloths, I sat and watched as he did so.
"Why would you just jump on me like that?!" Gideon asked as some people passing by snickered at the scene.
Gideon heard it and glanced in their direction before turning to me with a face red with anger.
"You embarrassed me!" He yelled while pointing at me.
"What's so bad about being embarrassed?" I asked.
"Everything! People will start gossiping, and then you'll be made out as a fool!" Gideon said, scoffing at the end and turning away, "I don't expect you to understand."
With those final words, Gideon turned and took his leave. I stood up and started following him.
"You know, I haven't ever actually seen your show in person, only ever heard from my siblings. When is your next show?!" I asked.
"There won't be a next one." Gideons said.
"Huh, what do you mean?"
Gideon stopped walked and turned to me.
"Ever since you Pines came to town everything I've worked for has been falling apart!" Gideon said, mumbling the next part, "Especially since that figure showed up and took my pendant."
Gideon started walking away again, this time I wasn't following him.
'So he's still salty about me taking his pendant. Maybe.... I could help him. He is my friend after all, and it seems like people have been looking at Gideon differently since he hasn't been able to put on his amazing shows anymore. That didn't happen in the dhow, but oh well!'
"Hey Gideon!" I called again.
Gideons steps sped up so he was speed walking away, however a light jog allowed me to catch up to him quickly.
"I do not care about your constant blabbering Pines." Gideon said turning to me. "You were supposed to get me Journal number three, but when I woke up, it was gone! You failed me!"
Gideon turned away and kept walking, taking deep breaths to calm himself down.
"I didn't fail you, I got you what you wanted!" I said.
"I don't have it anymore, so yes, you did fail me!"
"What if I can help you find something you've lost?" I asked, not going after him.
"I've lost nothing!" He shouted over his shoulder.
"You've lost your pendant." I said, but Gidoen heard me because he stopped.
Gideon turned to me, "What?"
"I watched from upstairs when the twins were shrunk. And ever since that guy with the hoodie took that pendant on your bowtie, your shows have gone down." I said turning around, "But hey, you don't need my blabbering so I'll leave you alone."
"Now stop right there Pines! What everything did you see?" Gideon asked.
"The pendant, that guy, Duncan, the grow and shrink flashlight thing, the fight." I listed off, "The whole thing basically."
"What did you mean, you could help me get back my pendant? How do you know what it can do?" Gideon asked.
"I never said 'help you get back your pendant', I said help you get back what you lost, Gideon. After all, friends help friends! Plus I'm not an idiot, I know Gravity Falls is anything but normal." I said with a big smile.
